Bobref Posted November 29, 2024 Author Posted November 29, 2024 Miners open the 2nd half with a score to make it 19-6. But Adams Central answers immediately with a long drive. 25-6 AC 3:19 3rd period. Quote
Bobref Posted November 29, 2024 Author Posted November 29, 2024 Linton throws their 3rd pick of the game … all in their own territory. AC makes them pay immediately. AC 32 Linton 6 2:09 of the 3rd period. Quote
Komets2727 Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 Adams Central laying the hammer down so far, 32-6. So much for Rodney’s prediction earlier in the year that the South would sweep the North 1 Quote
JQWL Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 Are there different touchback rules for the state finals? Quote

That was not a touchback, as the kick was possessed in the field of play, and the runner’s own momentum carried the ball into the end zone. If you watched carefully, you’d have seen the referee drop a beanbag at the 1 yd. line to mark a possible “momentum” spot, indicating that is where the kick was possessed. JQWL Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 I'm sitting in the endzone. I did see the marker thrown. Looked like the ball crossed the plane. I'm not the only one sitting here and thought the same. Quote
WCGrad92 Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 4 INT's by Linton, 39-6 Jets having their way Quote

Why you ask? It screws up the schedule for commercials on the broadcasts. 2 Quote

No input on the play as I've already left to start my consumption before the 4a game, but the best seat in the house is in the endzone. Real football is played between the tackles people, and the only way to truly observe it is from the endzone As a side note, in the press box you might as well be watching the game from the international space station 2 1 Quote

There's a whole football game in front of you, you can watch a tv at home Will concede I haven't even read the post about what the play is about Also remove the mercy rule all together, a team that's 200 points better should win by 200 points Edited November 29, 2024 by Rodney 1 Quote
