Yes:

2:   Carroll 92%

5:   Brownsburg 95%

7:   Warren Central 100%

One year of Brownsburg shaking the curse doesn’t give me all the feels.

Avon played them well enough early in the season that even if your pulling for them to win it all you have to give a nod to a potential upset.

Brownsburg 80%

Yeah.  They figured something out.

I should preface.

The 80% is brownsburg blowing them away.

But who knows, maybe avon makes it happen again.

They fell asleep the first time they played Avon. Won't happen tonight.

Any team that can “fall asleep” in a major rivalry game gives me pause.

Not allowed to answer.  I never played for them.

Can’t wait until Penn is bounced from the postseason so you do your annual disappearing act.

Looks like I’m here for at least another week.

No short of confidence entering their game with Carroll. Should be a good one.

Might be getting ahead of myself here but quite possibly the most balanced slate of regional finals that I can think of since the beginning of 6A.

Brownsburg obviously still the favorite but I could totally see three one possession games in the others.

That Penn game could have easily been a blowout of Penn or a blowout of CP last night. Penn gave them every opportunity with 3 bad snaps on punts and a bad snap on a field goal.

Penn showed resilience all game long. Bouncing back after every punch CP landed.

I could not have asked for a more exciting game!

Congrats to WESTFIELD!!!

Westfield over Carmel was an eye opener last night, as was Penn's IMPRESSIVE win over Crown Point. I emphasize "impressive", because they could have won by more. After that long touchdown run on the first play, Penn looked like the better team.

Westfield avenged a 24 point earlier in the season to the Greyhounds, but..........Carmel almost losing to Lawrence Central three weeks prior makes me wonder if they were a little off late in the season. Purely speculation.

Nothing else really stood out to me last night in 6A. Just good teams taking care of business. Northrop once again was a thorn in Carroll's side pulling to within 28-23 after being down 28-10. Then the Chargers pulled away. Almost a mirror image of their regular season game.

I have a question, what were the fan situations like at the games around the state?

I was rather surprised at the small amount of CP fans that made the drive to Penn last night. I was also annoyed at how poor Penn's fan turnout has been over the past few years. Also a school of 3500 kids had a rather dismal student section.

Student sections at Carroll and Snider are massive. Carroll packs the house for home games, not so much for away games. About the same for Snider. While Snider doesn't have quite the home crowd Carroll does, they probably travel a bit better.

Dwenger doesn't pack the house anywhere near they way they used to. Internet to blame I'm sure.

Warsaw brought a good crowd to Fort Wayne earlier in the year.

North Side fans show out for the big games.

Merrillville still seems to travel well, brought a big fan base with them in 2023. They travel way better than Valpo.

Overall, I'm seeing more smaller crowds than big ones. You're right though, crowds aren't what they used to be.

Westfield-Carmel was totally full- taking into account Carmel’s top handful of rows being closed off this season- but they had a couple late arrivals that had to sit on visitor side. Great turnout for both student sections, could hear walking by Westfield students had Christmas music going at their tailgate too, great scene overall last night!

I wish there were more fans.  Might have been able to ignore the language on field and on the sidelines.

But a fantastic game, all in all

Yea, plus their massive press box is apparently being replaced. Not surprised by the Westfield turnout, even though they did have that long 5 mile drive down to Carmel's stadium :)
