I went with 8% for Fishers, but upon further review, I think that's too high. Probably more like 2-4%.

Anyone seen the ND coach at a game this year? He has a kid wearing black and gold doesn't he? Would think a regional tilt would bring him out...for his son..

No idea where you've been.  But if ND is in town, he's ALWAYS there to support his son.

Had you watched the game on Saturday (Navy) you would've seen him in a black hoodie in the end zone, cheering him along.

ND needs to give Marcus a contract extension , we need the other 3 boys in singlets as well .

Does the staff at ND spread the wealth over the SB area? What school gets the most ND kids in your opinion?

Depends on the sport . If a coaches son plays football , it's usually Penn .

Coach Freeman always stands in the southwest corner of the endzone, a lot of the time with Coach Yeoman.

Yes he comes when he can. He was at the St. Joe game. He was also at the CP game, just not on field.

This 6A tournament has been full of surprises. I didn't see Warren winning, the last two Penn games have been back and forth battles.

What I am praying for is for Carroll to give Westfield everything they can handle.

remaining odds for the 6A squads per Harrell

Carroll (Fort Wayne) 100.00% 23.12% 6.22%
Westfield 100.00% 76.88% 39.11%
Brownsburg 100.00% 81.05% 49.55%
Warren Central 100.00% 18.95% 5.12%

As entertaining another Westfield v Brownsburg defensive battle would be so fun to watch....I was impressed by how well Carroll threw the ball around.

Was not shocked with Warren winning.  Knew it would be a close game....they continued improving as the season progressed.  Finch didn't play in their first game and that young man is special.  Why he is Alabama bound....although would have loved keeping him in state.

Is that a judgy subtext?

My dad never came to any of my matches or programs. He was a high school assistant principal, so he was busy. When he wasn't, he didn't want to make me nervous. It wasn't that he didn't want to be there. He told me what was up. He did the same thing with my brother. He didn't want to hover over us. He wasn't famous, either.

But, anyway, it appears other posters have pointed out you might just be missing him.

I would never judge a parent on not showing up, I have dealt with enough kids to know that putting food on the table and providing a roof takes priority over showing up to sport contests. I had talked with some guys who pointed out his son was on the team yet werent entirely sure. I thought if he was on the team it would be awesome that he comes out to the games yet could undertand why he wouldnt.. I honestly had no idea. I should have worded it better. I still remember the days when the grammar police would get me when I mis-typed or misspoke. Mea culpa..

Carroll has been a good passing team since Day 1 when Diana took over the program. That's just his thing. He will ALWAYS have a QB who can sling it around...........one way or another. It took him a few years to get the defense sorted. Now that they have a decent defense to go compliment his offense, they're competitive on a statewide level.

It has been a year of adversity for the Trojans. Coach Moore will never make excuses but the Trojans did a terrific job having a 10-2 season even in the face of some adversity. They definitely be better for it several players getting a lot of playing time and the young QB1 gained a lot of experience.

I was surprised that WC won given that the game was at CG, but I was not surprised that WC was able to compete and win the game. They have a very solid defense and the offense has been right there on the cusp several times throughout the season. Much more improved offensively for the Warriors. I definitely feel Brownsburg is the favorite because they are solid at darn near every position but the Warriors will fight hard.

Congrats to the Trojans on a solid season.
