I mean, they still have extremely difficult paths to the state finals.  I’ve been critical of both programs on here multiple times.

They have enough built up credibility but it’s slowly expiring.

Not so much, but he took the time to start every tournament thread, for each class and has been committed to weekly thread along with the new and super exciting ELIMINATOR playoff thread, those were the reasons I sent the PM as since my days from computer lab to el ed pe, I have not the time I once did to do many of the things I used to do and conversation flowing stuff.   

Does the back and forth with Temp and some of our longer tenured members is stale, at least to me, but remember been helping out for about 15 years now, so overseeing the constant is same ole same ole just different names this round from the last previous years.   

can't make everyone happy in an online community like this, I understand and appreciate Gonzoron and his williness to link up theads, but also understand where the satuation of it could turn into negative for some, especially, IMO, in 2025 this medium is not as heavily trafficed like it was 15 yars ago ..... before MANY other social communication availablilies.... Just to name a few things throughout the threads 

Try to be fair and understand to all.  never will bat 1000 but trying to keep things flowing positivilty and upward, which has always been the mission around here.

If many folks here would be at the local yocal discussing these wonderful topics, it would be fun and information filled because body language and tone are key aspects to communications and sadly this medium does not give such opportunity then sometimes it gets sideways, but as Temp has said many times I have seen,  "We probably have more in common than you realize".

Ben Davis will be back. If all the players they have in the program stay, and that's a big if these days, the Giants will be back in the conversation. While there are some upperclassmen, the core of this year's team is very young.

Maybe not relevant in a state sense, but if some of these teams up in the far northern region of the state had to play the schedules Warren and Ben Davis do, they wouldn't be where they are.

Crown Point lost their top RB and QB from last year, that's fair. What if I told you Carroll played HSE this year without their best offensive player, would that count for anything? 

Would it count for anything for the game against HSE? Yes and I know Vanpelt did not play against HSE. Would it make a difference in my thoughts of Carroll vs Carmel, Brownsburg, Westfield, Fishers? No. If you were to ask me I would give Carroll FW higher odds of beating Crown Point than I would Carmel and Westfield. I would put Carroll and Fishers about even if you were to ask me. I would say Vanpelt (Carroll) SR and Sharpe (Brownsburg) JR are both about equal WR's about the same style. Vanpelt has 368 more receiving yards 5 more TD's than Sharpe, that being said Sharpe has had to play against stiffer competition throughout the entirety of the 9 game regular season. Vanpelt has played against a few very good defenses and performed very well. Sharpe has played against just a couple more very good defense and performed well. I feel Brownsburg has the best team in 6A in all 3 phases of the game Offensively, defensively, and in Special Teams.

I also feel Westfields defense is better than some give them credit for. They are giving up 12.2 average per game which is really impressive considering their HCC schedule and non-conference game against Carmel. W

Good stuff. It's one thing to think in your hear that Fishers is better than Carroll. All I'm saying, is that if you were on a committee, there's no way to justify giving them a higher seed. See my new thread in Next Level.

Westfield sounds legit.

Center Grove and Brownsburg sound like a title gifted to these guys without actually being present in the class. Not saying that's the case, just an observation by any reasonable person.

Crown Point HFC also has PE teacher attached to his name.  

 

Russ Radtke and Kirk Kennedy are "Dean of Attendance" at their respected schools
