Here's a Google map with what (I think) will be the six classes, based on Success Factor & IHSAA enrollments. Have fun trying to figure out who goes where. https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1O6J1oaoKWSgPWgPhsL7-eng1-_vqyqEr&usp=sharing A couple of caveats - Chatard was placed in 4A, Western Boone in 3A, LCC in 2A and I put 64 teams in 4A and 63 in the other classes to leave open the possibility of Chatard, WeBo or LCC moving down. If I get some clarification from the IHSAA on how that will be handled, I'll adjust the classes accordingly.1 point

How would you know the people in the locker room didn't? Were you in there? 53 sure seemed to believe in him. I am good right here. You are clueless. QB stats don't win games? Moronic. Just moronic.1 point

Can't say I'm going to miss Zionsville in that sectional with Harrison after the last two seasons.1 point

Here's my stab at 2A... 33 - Whiting, Bishop Noll, Lake Station Edison, River Forest, Andrean, Wheeler, Laville, Bremen 34 - Delphi, Pioneer, Winamac, Rochester, Cass, Wabash, Manchester, Whitko 35 - Prairie Heights, Eastside, Churubusco, Central Noble, Luers, Bluffton, Eastbrook 36 - Eastern (Greentown), Tipton, Elwood, Frankton, Alexandria, Lapel, Winchester, Blackford 37 - Northeastern, Shenandoah, Heritage Christian, Park Tudor, Ritter, Triton-Central, Union County 38 - Benton Central, LCC, Seeger, South Vermillion, Greencastle, Cascade, North Putnam, Southmont 39 - Sullivan, Linton-Stockton, North Knox, North Posey, Mater Dei, Tell City, Perry Central, Forest Park 40 - Crawford County, Paoli, Mitchell, Brown County, Brownstown Central, Eastern Pekin, Clarksville, Switzerland County In my opinion, 39 and 40 are pretty much set it in stone. In 38, I pulled two "North" schools down to the south because I think driving down south for them w/ access to 65 might make easier trips than driving across the state. I also wouldn't be surprise if IHSAA went this route... 33 - Whiting, Bishop Noll, Lake Station Edison, River Forest, Andrean, Wheeler, Laville, Bremen 34 - Prairie Heights, Eastside, Central Noble Churubusco, Luers, Machester, Whitko 35 - Bluffton, Blackford, Eastbrook, Wabash, Eastern (Greentown), Tipton, Alexandria, Elwood 36 - Rochester, Winamac, Pioneer, Cass, Delphi, LCC, Benton Central, Seeger 37 - South Vermillion, Southmont, North Putnam, Greencastle, Cascade, Ritter, Park Tudor, Heritage Christian 38 - Frankton, Lapel, Triton-Central, Shenandoah, Winchester, North Eastern, Union County1 point

Like DE asked, please clarify this statement with some actual basis....and quoting Doyel who hated him from Day 1 for his Wentz' covid vaccine stance doesn't count. Unless you have connections to the Colts locker room, be careful buying everything members of the media may say.... Darius Leonard seems to have a different feeling.....1 point

Ahhh. Bad info. A frosh isn't really a transfer, right? BTW, I meant nothing negative with the post at all. I think any HS athlete should be able to transfer whenever and wherever they want. Nobody makes the speech, band or German club kid sit out a year if they transfer. All three of our primary RBs graduated. We have a transfer from Central, who came to them from Westfield, but last I heard Central was not releasing him. I hear we also have a transfer from Mater Dei. I suspect nobody on the GID will care about that one. Transfer portal, school choice, I guess you can call it whatever you want, but why shouldn't a kid be able to attend whatever school he or she wants and fully participate in all extra-curricular activities that help them become well-rounded young adults? Ouch. That has to sting. I wonder if they will try to come back to the SIAC?1 point

Thank you captain obvious. Don't think anyone said he didn't step down. Wow. Groundbreaking reporting. You could also just look at his twitter feed and get it DIRECTLY from him.1 point

Don’t forget about the QB that hasn’t lost a game to a conference opponent the last 4 years1 point

Hey guys. Just a heads up. I gave a "sit and spin" reaction to a couple of the posts. It wasn't mean to be negative... but rather a "WOW" reaction. Guess we need that emoji soon!1 point

There schools. A lot of schools already know what class they are in. There was a statement put out not to long ago that the teams that moved mid cycle will stay where they are at. And they are starting the two years over.1 point

You mean in addition to the one who already transferred in?!? Houses must be dirt cheap over in Gibson County. Gonna have to talk with my wife about taking a peak that way! Who are Memorial's new additions this year?? Did both RB's graduate from last year?? Is this what high school sports are going to become - the transfer portals?!? I guess if colleges can do it, why shouldn't we??1 point

FYI, we have confirmation from the IHSAA that Chatard will stay in 4A, Western Boone in 3A and LCC in 2A for both years of the upcoming cycle. Looks like WeBo is 3A - especially with a growing enrollment - for good as it is.1 point

Heard he's moving to Michigan, and he and his wife have the opportunity of a lifetime. We're sure gonna miss him here in Elkhart County that's for sure.1 point

Ya - seems all the SF mumble jumble jocking was a moot point after all. I didn't think the 517 number would be enough to keep us in 3A , seeing as how we were actually larger in our 2017 State Championship year (2A)- but I guess that's how the numbers played out. Now, for the IHSAA sectional alignments to play out. (Please fix sectional 30!)1 point

I have numbers from the Evansville Diocese. Mater Dei had 538 and Reitz Memorial had 791 in 2009-10. That was the first year of the Success Factor. No grand conspiracy. The IHSAA just didn’t update their spreadsheet.1 point

Glad to see these kids going to advance their academic and athletic careers! The HCAC is getting some good athletes!1 point

After having traveled three and fours hours to sectional games multiple times years ago, I realized the IHSAA is not a place for logic or bold, new ideas. With the sectional drive times they have been imposing for the last two decades as well as having two of the top teams in a class playing each other in an opening round due to the IHSAA balls system, they could easily take a whole semistate and seed it with top seed hosts. Are there challenges, yes. Are these challenges greater or less than the awkward current melee?1 point

I've updated the class maps based on the new enrollments. Adjustments from the original *63 schools in 4A-A Norwell from 4A-3A (due to 63 schools) Rensselaer, Centerville, Pike Central from 2A>3A Mater Dei, Luers, Bremen, Andrean from 3A>2A Providence, Eastern Hancock from 2A>A Again, made the assumption that Chatard (4A) and LCC (2A) will at least begin in their Success Factored class and possibly move down if they do not get their requisite two points this year., Western Boone will be the smallest 3A on enrollment. If Chatard goes back to 3A next year, Norwell will move to 4A. If LCC goes back to 1A next year, Eastern Hancock will go to 2A.1 point

He didn't get the job done when it needed to be done. I'm far from clueless. Personal beliefs don't win football games. Execution does.0 points

Yeah - Nothing to see here......Keep moving along...... There's more to Ukraine than "Putin just wants it back". Yes he does want it to be part of Mother Russia again, but I also think he doesn't like the fact that he's not in control of the corruption anymore.....0 points

Are you seeing the information coming out about US funding that went to Ukraine for bio and nuclear weapons? Information is coming out that it was recently "discovered". Recently means the information was released yesterday.0 points

Ok, I will go real slow so you can keep up. There were 30 teams in 6A last year and 37 in 5A. That is not 32 and 32. Two 6A programs were in the Sectional finals without playing a game. This is not balanced.0 points
