As am I dude. Hard for me to quantify the positive impact that studying him has had on my career. Not just the Air Raid offense, but his general approach to leading a team. Shoot, his general approach to life. He made it ok to be “different” as a football coach. I really admired him and kind of had the pipe dream that I might meet him some day. Believe it or not, some organizations actually work out contingency plans in advance, in case Plan A doesn’t pan out. Apparently, that concept is foreign to the NCAA. Most organizational disasters are not the result of a plan failing, but rather of failing to plan.

What is misleading? If they are a member of a parish they are a member of a parish. I am sure there are kids that attend the local township school and are members of the parish yet attend the Parochial High School when the time comes. There are also kids that attend the parish school but when it comes time for High School they attend the local Township school instead of the Parish Parochial High School. Is there a difference or should it only work one way?

I know Cody personally, I have not talked to him, but the fact that he was bombarded today to the point that he felt compelled to put out a statement is just so disappointing.

I like Coach Walters already. today was his first day in WL….and one of the first things he did was get Mockobee on scholarship. it’s about damn time! Kid should have been on scholarship to begin with, but even So I didn’t understand why the Brohms didn’t extend the offer after he broke out a few months ago

100% agree. Also of interest is 30 8th graders attend St (insert parochial elementary) and 10 of them attend (insert Parochial Deanery High School) 20 of them do not and attend (insert local Public Township High School) would those be considered stolen from the Parochial School?

Last year's Texas Class 6A- Division I title game had almost 60,000 in attendance which was greater than all but seven major college bowl games.

College sports have always been minor league system, in year 2022, the choice has been made clear they are being compensated with more than just Room and Board and Degrees. Now, I will wholeheartedly agree the roll out of the ERA of NIL has been very short sighted by the NCAA and they had plenty of years to get ready for this, which SHOULD of been DAY 1 of the Ed O'Bannon lawsuit when filed, but perhaps the hubris of the NCAA probably thought they would not lose that case in court and then here we are, Wild Wild West as they say.

That would be a 6 week playoff. With a conference championship added in for a number of teams, that could be 18 games. 12 is too many in my mind. No way anyone outside the top 10 has a prayer of being a champion. And who is Mary?

Ummmm …. no. I think Bowen is a terrific player. But he’s not even the best LB to come out of Indiana in the last 10 years, let alone 50.
