My day is complete. 15th year in a row being a donor and a downvote from Mudas because he has the same personality and sense of humor of a box turtle. And I’ll say it right to his face! Thanks admin for putting up with me!3 points

Sorry about the down time. I was upgrading everything in preparation for a new season and things went south. It really wasn't a major deal, but if took me a couple hours of reading to see what had changed in the new version of mySQL to fix the issue. I just had to add a line to the config file because the new version requires it although all the previous versions did not. Carry on, back to the football discussions.3 points

Donation sent. It's worth it to get rid of these overly intrusive ads. Have a nice day.2 points

Who am I to question the NCAA? 🤣😂 One thing to keep in mind is that these sanctions have nothing to do with the sign stealing scandal. That shoe has yet to drop.2 points

The Penn Cathedral game last year was 110% a let down. Everything I heard is that the team just lacked motivation and enthusiasm to be there....That scared me last year. I think the future is getting brighter in Penn Country from the things I have heard from some players and parents.2 points

I'm not sure who is putting CC field in, but the Hellas crew here was going back and forth between here and Lucas Oil Stadium when they had to convert back to football from swimming. Pretty impressive crew to watch. 12-14 hour days and worked most weekends. Finished a couple weeks ahead of schedule. It took just a little more than 2 weeks after they initially laid the turf to have a finished field. Amazing how they cut everything in.1 point

While I agree the list of teams he chose to include is interesting, I am just sitting over here wondering what Brownsburg has done to merit top 100 consideration… That being said, I enjoy this read every year and could not even begin to imagine the work involved to even begin to compile a competent poll.1 point

And, right now with Warsaw being in 5A and Snider in 6A, there is no other offense in 6A that runs that style of offense....that I know of. I agree with playing a Warsaw or Mishawaka if you are going to see that style of offense in the playoffs. But, right now the bones shook out in a way that neither Penn or Snider benefit from playing either school. I like playing Mishawaka, but right now the rivalry needs to go back on the shelf, for a few years. I have talked to a couple people that are near the Elkhart program, they are saying the same thing we as Penn fans are saying, leaving the NIC needs to happen. The folks I talked to liked the prospect of moving to the DAC, and actually shot down the idea of moving to the NLC where they would culturally and geographically fit right in. I think if the DAC added Penn, Elkhart, New Prairie and a Hobart or Lowell in, the conference would be very competitive at the top and in the middle at the 4A and 5A level. A conference with Penn, Merrillville, Crown Point, Valpo running the top of the ticket and Elkhart, NP, Hobart, MC, and Chesterton or Lake Central as the next tier is a strong strong conference.1 point

Actually if memory serves it was February 1st, 2009, a little over 15 years ago. The winning of a super bowl is a primary sign of success for an NFL head coach. Therefore Mr. Harbaugh is not a successful NFL coach. Yet.1 point

Been saying that for years. One of the best tournament rivalries in the state for two decades. These programs respect one another. I can't imagine these teams haven't reached out to one another, it's probably just not feasible. In a perfect world, Snider would replace East Noble for Penn and Warsaw for Warren Central or a Northern Indy program...........Noblesville, HSE, Fishers, Westfield, or Carmel. No offense to Warsaw, I just think their schedule needs an Indy flavor..........and after playing Mishawaka for two years, I utterly hate the thought of facing that offense.1 point

Now, @temptation, you know there are a lot of young posters on here. They look up to you. And now you’re telling them the ends justify the means. Tsk, tsk. Bad example.1 point

There may be some movement as I look for some teams to bounce back after an off year (looking at you Carmel), some others beginning the long road back (Avon) and several others that could surprise (Fishers, Hamilton Southeastern, Westfield, Zionsville) and make a run at the top, but for now Center Grove, Ben Davis and Brownsburg appear to be the head of the class.1 point

I agree, #12 isn't a backtrack at all. In fact, anything in the Top 15 is a major compliment. Fishers had a couple of rough seasons in Funk's first two years, I don't see them backtracking to that level is what I meant.1 point
