  2. 10 points? I don't know. Honestly, I posted that with tongue in cheek. Obviously the main toss up on that list is Heritage Hills and Memorial. There's no common opponents to make any kind of real prediction on that game as far as I can tell. The media kind of went Captain Insano about Memorial shellacking Reitz, but I'd say that was what most people who were paying attention expected. Same can be said about Heritage Hills' strong performance over an injury weakened Gibson Southern. The likely meeting of Memorial and Heritage Hills in Sectional 32 has got to be the most interesting game left in Southern Indiana and my popcorn will be ready! But yeah, I think Heritage Hills will be getting ready for their next opponent while the Memorial players are handing in their gear.

  3. I wasn't even there and I'm fairly confidant that Washington fan was acting like a complege jag off to the Michigan bench. Still doesn't excuse Bryant for losing composure. You're paid to be an adult. Act like it.

  6. Yeah, LN will have to play much more disciplined to beat the Irish but I still maintain their up side/ceilng is higher.

  7. Brownsburg has proven over the past few years that they are a legit regular season team. No ups and downs like the other schools you named, just regular season excellence. Talent is abundant and it seems like it will continue. I have more faith that Brownsburg will continue this path than the other teams reaching their current level

  9. Completely agree...Plymouth won both of those games and should be proud of that...and I would never try to take that away from them. As a NW fan...I remember a certian year they won State...there were those that thought they shouldn't have been there. I was just replying to your question as to why people are counting Plymouth out. I have no dog in the fight any longer when it comes to making myself feel better about a high school football game. I'm just a fan of the NLC and making weekly observations / thoughts.

  14. Yes, I firmly believe such incidents will escalate, be it in "travel ball" or traditional school sponsored extra-curricular sports activities.

  15. Columbus North beat Fishers and LN in a scrimmage this summer. I know, I know. It's a scrimmage. But we did so with our back up QB.

  19. Very similar take that you had with Cignetti talking. Tiller came to Indy for an IFCA meeting with his staff. It does not take long to figure out that some coaches have it. Had the same experience with Bill Mallory.
