You're still missing it. The number of teams they've decided to go to is not the significant part. The significant part is that they're using the playoffs to make the regular season better. You can only do that with a qualification format or, to a much lesser degree, seeding because, otherwise, regular season games have no connection to the playoffs.

RB/DB Alex Currie is representing the Flying Jets at 145lbs. He is the wrestling coach's son and hopefully will make 2 more trips after this one. Maybe get the crown that his father was oh so close to years before. Alex kept our streak of sending a wrestler to state going in a down year. For all of our wrestling success at AC, we've only had 1 state champ and that was a few years before I was born!

No doubt, I have been meaning to go for years but a lot of times we would be at coach clinic and out of town during this weekend, but not this year!! No better time then now to support my guy Eli who one of the hardest working kids in 3 sports over 4 years that I have ever seen come thru our school. I am also excited to watch 195 pounder Kyler Funk wrestle this weekend as well.

I was just talking about the open Washington position a week ago. I hadn’t realized Jake Durnil stepped down at the time. What’s strange is some of the parents I spoke to last fall seemed to feel he had some things going in the right direction, mostly pertaining to the younger incoming classes. Yet, the on-field product and varsity numbers were not encouraging signs. Good luck to Coach Morris.

You will be pleasantly Impressed. For those general sports fans, who have never been, this is a bucket list to do. Number 1 high school sporting event in the state. Unmatched in the country, some will profess.

If Ole Miss did end up in 3A, I could see them moving into sectional 27. Concordia is the best team in the current alignment of that sectional. Delta and Marion both had a higher Sagarin rating than Concordia last season, and Ole Miss beat both of them to win sectional 20.

Good win last night for the Hoosiers. Got a win at a place they historically don't play well in. Big game at home on Sunday against #9 Penn State.

Kruze moved to Jamestown. He didn't just Transfer in. You can ask the family... I won't speculate on a kid/family decision to attend another school.
