Oh SIMPLE...
Wheels fall off in a hurry if you don't have a the trio of guys to make the "simple" concept look "simple".
Would argue that there is nothing more simple than 7 down lineman man on man blocking and a QB turning to hand it to a RB behind two FBs.
East Central lineman Luke Collinsworth commits to Cincinnati.
Pike offensive lineman Mahamane Moussa added his first P5 offer from Boston College to add to the handful of MAC offers.
LOL. There is the patented DT we all love and know.
Say anything that sounds remotely true, get instantly called out on it, backpedal and start over like nothing happened. Rinse, wash, repeat. It’s like clockwork.
In College football, many have said, once a kid Verbals to a school is when the real recruiting happens!!!
I have no knowledge whatsoever on whether ND will offer or if they did if that will even impact his decision.
I do know this, the young man is very good football player
I don't get the angst towards RPO? Now I don't advocate running it for the sake just to do it, but if you have a QB who is good/smart enough to make the reads and it utilizes your athletes in space that gives you a distinct advantage over your opponent, why the hell not run it? The end goal is to put your best team in a position to win. Whether that's RPO, Air Raid, Wishbone, Triple Option, who cares?
RPO's aren't a new concept. I've seen them in playbooks as far back as the 70's. Heck, even Bud Wright utilized an RPO 2 years ago against us in the sectional. Why would you not take advantage of an effective scheme? Your lack of football knowledge is very evident. The Bart Curtis and Russ Radtke's of the world still co-exist peacefully among the new wave coaching concepts, and the sky is not falling.
