  2. Its' a DAMNED shame that in a league 70% (+/-) African-American. in 2022 there is only ONE Head Coach that reflects any ability for those who would even choose to think about their future within the NFL beyond that of an "assistant" continue to use the guise of the Rooney Rule to circumvent and continue the old-boys network as a way to further their idiotic hiring practices.... Eric Bieniemy should have been hired 3 years ago as a HC in the NFL! The Jaguars "may" hire Byron Leftwich as their HC....again "MAY". That's IT! The NFL has done a better job with their officials (selection/promotion) in giving/providing a diverse representation to the those of us on that end of the spectrum; Than anything the ''OWNERS" have ever done in trying to find and promote those within a minority community to lead their franchises. SAME OLE, SAME OLE.... Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Recycled, and not updated! But with the same 'suit". 🤬

  3. We would love for your team to consider competing in our annual linemen challenge here at Lafayette Jeff when mapping out what your summer is going to look like. We are planning to hold it Saturday, July 18th starting at 9am. This event is a great morning for the big guys. No footballs...all attention on them... just moving, pushing, pulling, and flipping heavy objects as fast as you can! Our event last year was our biggest and most competitive year yet. Ben Davis, Lawrence North, Fishers, Noblesville, Brownsburg, Harrison, Kokomo, Delta, Eastbrook, Twin Lakes, Whiting, Rensselaer, among others, are all teams that were either here last year or have competed in previous years. The cost that we charge will pay for T-Shirts for each kid and each coach that is in attendance. We would love for you to bring multiple 5-man teams, if you are able to field more than one competitive team. Please let me know if you are in and how many teams that you plan to enter. Note: We will be capping the event with 24, 5-man teams. Additional Info: $60 each for 1 Linemen Challenge Team (Multiple Teams Encouraged – 2 teams - $120.00) LB/TE’s can be used if needing to fill a spot or two! Please make all checks payable to: Lafayette Jeff Football AT LEAST ONE COACH per Lineman Team should accompany the team throughout the competition. Example: If you bring 10 lineman, you MUST bring 2 coaches If interested, please contact me at pshanley@lsc.k12.in.us - word document with all information is attached. 2022 Lafayette Jeff Lineman Challenge.docx

  4. 1. Weiss is so ready to call plays that he has to share duties with someone who also hasn’t called plays? 2. Why’d the recruit de-commit and why did Gattis get divorced around the same time? What’s that saying about smoke and fire? 3. I cited his Vandy days because it’s the only destination he’s had actual play calling duties. Duh. 4. How many DC’s has Harbaugh hired that are as inexperienced and green as Minter? 5. Completely irrelevant

  7. That's a shame. The NFL is a long shot and he just wasted a great opportunity for post graduate success in the ND alumni network.

  8. I can't speak for others, but that is my purpose here. Pure entertainment. It keeps me young.

  9. I had a little bit of a knee jerk reaction to Saturday loss against Illinois as did most Hoosier fans I think. Indiana currently stand solidly in the field for all bracketology most have them as a 7 or 8 seed . A lot of ball left to play but really I think Indiana only need 3 wins to put themselves in the field on selection Sunday . Anything on top pf that is just icing on the cake . This was all I wanted the last 6 years . A massive step forward under Mike Woodson hope the trend continues . Go Hoosiers Indiana (16-6, 7-5) has not made the NCAA Tournament since 2016. Here is their remaining schedule: at Northwestern (Quadrant 1) at Michigan State (Quadrant 1) vs. Wisconsin (Quadrant 1) at Ohio State (Quadrant 1) vs. Maryland (Quadrant 3) at Minnesota (Quadrant 2) vs. Rutgers (Quadrant 3) at Purdue (Quadrant 1)

  10. But both can/could throw a football a country mile. Same effective thing in football as running 4.3 40 yard dash.

  11. Like with anything in life, things do not typically get talked about until it impacts individuals themselves or a large enough group of people.

  12. Some schools can have very successful programs but never win a state championship. Some schools are just not set up to win them.
