Carmel at Westfield postponed until 6pm tomorrow. Carmel up 10-0 in 2nd.

Carmel took the  opening kickoff down to the Westfield 8, mostly on the ground. Rocks got the stop and Carmel kicked the FG, 3-0 Carmel. Westfield drives inside the Carmel 34, but comes up a yard short on a fourth down run. Carmel doesn't take long, scoring on a swing pass that turns into a 43 yard TD run. 10-0. Westfield goes 3 and out, Carmel gets the ball and again runs it a couple of plays up near midfield. Game was then suspended, later cancelled until 6pm Saturday evening.

Yikes!! Terre Haute North got their first win since 2022 to snap a 14-game losing streak after beating Mooresville 36-32.

Everyone outside of the TH North fans and team, had Mooresville putting this game away by halftime.

What's going on with the Pioneers? They beat a ranked Bloomington North team last week to open the season and then turned around and went on the road to lose to a team on a 14-game losing streak. The Patriots may be improved, but this just doesn't figure.

First congrats to THN. I’m sure those boys are riding high right now.

Second, I never saw that coming. I thought maybe Mooresville has something cooking with the addition of Cruz.

So many crazy turns this past two weeks. Especially in 6A! That’s what makes football so exciting. I think this season is going to be one to remember.

Does anyone know if the Moller & Dwenger game went the full 4 quarters? If so, did it end really late or did it not storm 3 south of Northrop?

It’s why I said something last night that one mile apart, Dwenger continued to play while Snider delayed. Makes zero sense

seems like when south played them last I listened or watched some sort of stream possibly the terre haute media and they said thn was a young team that had a coaching change .  Lot of development can occur in the off season.

Cruz was hurt late in the game in in their game with Bloomington North and I don't know if he played or not against the Patriots or if he had limitations since I don't know the specifics of the game. Needless to say, THN needed to get that losing streak monkey off their back and they did in surprising fashion and like you said, congrats to them.

Martinsville 27 Bloomington South 21 (very early 3rd)

South's Mckay ran the kickoff of the 2nd half to the 22 yard-line of the Arties. South RB Townsend scored on two carries to cover the 22 yards.

Martinsville 34 Bloomington South 21 (6:48, 3rd)

Arties answered South's score to start the 3rd with a long drive staying almost exclusively on the ground picking up yardage through big holes made by their big line.

South has the ball deep in Arties territory to start the 4th.
