Adams Central wins they are in 3a next year

Andrean hosting Southmount who I know nothing about, was told they have large humans up front and good running back

Andrean has large humans as well

Doesn’t seem fair that AC would have to go up in class! What happens to 6a team who create a ‘dynasty’? there is no class above them

Does anyone in 2A??

You may be right!

Linton looked impressive in their game against what appeared to be a good Sullivan team (I know nothing about them) last Friday.

On the other hand, Brownstown’s closest game this year (so far) was still something like a 20 point differential.

All that said, Brownstown/Linton game should be a good one. Hopefully the weather is a little better for it this year.

Tough to say, have not seen any other of the three contenders from up north. It will take a big physical DL/OL to get it done.

Just take a peek at IHSAATV and search ANDREAN and then put the film on and see if they have an OL/DL to get it done.

It starts with the 6'7 325 pound Wisconsin Commit at OL and in key downs plays DT.....

Average weight up front is like 275 or so on the OL.    In key moments they will use their JR MLB/RB with offers from Minnesota, Purdue and Rutgers so far along with many in the MAC at Running Back

Their entire box defense is like average 6'1 215 at LB and their OLB are unbelievable as well size and skill.

There is a reason they have only given up 13 now Touchdowns in 11 games with 6 of those those coming against Merrilliville who also has multiple D1 kids in 5a team more than likely playing in Semi State next week.  Outside of MVille game Andrean defense has given up 3 rushing touchdowns all year, those 3 have been when the score was already 35-0, Angola and RCHS, ours in the 3rd quarter had everyone on starting Defense minus the D1 LB, it looked like, and our 2nd one was against what looked like 2nd team full on sub out.

Scary part is Andrean is not SENIOR dominated overall team.

Probably where Adams Central's season comes to an end. These private schools are hard for the publics to keep up with.

I will see them this Friday. Southmont coming a long way, changing time zones. Sagarin makes the Mounties almost a 20 pt. underdog.

True yet they did get past them last year, although its tough to smack the same person twice.

Andrean's better this year though. The Jets will fight to the end, I just don't think it will be enough. Never count a program like that out though.

Southmont has a large front line in their own right.

But that’s where the comparison ends.

True, those D1 lineman are gamechangers in lower classes. Pioneer had one that played both sides and kicked a few years back while having two of the fastest guys in the state. Lineman got hurt against Luers, the knights ended up coming back and winning the game to go on to LOS.

Hopefully it is not a mud bowl like it was last year.

Didn’t you just say the same thing about Luers not beating Mississinewa 2 years in a row???

I did, but to my defense, that Luers/Mississinewa game could have gone either way last week.

Nah. Actually what you said was Luers was worse than 2024 and Mississinewa was better than 2024 teams. Man, I keep telling you bet against Luers and Adams Central at your own peril
