Temperature for Week 2 Games

With forecasted temperatures to be around 100 degrees on Friday, has anyone heard of any games being moved to Saturday?

Assuming all the stadiums have lights, why not push the games back two hours.  They do that in Texas all the time.

Since when are we afraid of a little heat

Back in my day we use to practice drunk all summer

to prepare our bodies for dehydration on game day

My coach was a true visionary though

and all of those child endangerment allegations are completely fabricated

In the late 1950's and early 1960's, when I went to school, our games started at 8PM, but you had to be at CYO Field by 6PM to get a seat at most games.  I realize that's back in the dark ages, but we were on Central Time, here in Indianapolis, at that time also.  It was a lot more civilized, imho.

I don’t agree with much you post, but spot on commentary on the time.

Why this entire state is not on Central time is beyond belief.

Indiana is the only state in the nation who’s time is dictated by metro areas outside the state. It’s time Indiana became whole, I don’t care what time NY, Cincinnatti, or Louisville uses.

The entire state of Indiana and Louisville KY should all be Central Time.

But the residents of Floyd County Indiana probably do because a good portion of them have some kind of economic or social interests (job, services, school, material goods,  etc.) with the Louisville area.  Same for the residents of Dearborn county and Cincinnati.
