This is shaping up to be a historically bad year for the Big Ten.
Who wants to win the west?
Ohio State
Michigan
Penn State
Maryland
Purdue
Minnesota
Iowa
Illinois
Michigan State
Rutgers
Wisconsin
Nebraska
Indiana
Northwestern
They switched divisions in the off-season and I didn’t notice until last week lol
In Canada for work and will get the website updated by tomorrow and it should be reflected in those 👍
What a great game by North Judson! They looked very good! Obviously our coaches took my advice and did not show the Jays our real defense. Ha Ha! 😂😂
Should be a great game next Friday between the Lancers and the Blue Jays!
I’m sure they’ll continue to figure it out.
CG/Carmel will be better off in the long term than the MIC 6…it just may take a bit of time.
More pressing to me? Who is the MIC replacing them with?
I bet the Grovers are going to find out soon why you have to play out of state teams to fill a schedule. Especially if the MIC teams stop playing them.
Look at what Cathedral had to do this year. They are all over the state AND had to play a team from Cinci. I think they even had a bye this year because they couldn't find a game for week 5.
I agree. I think this is one of those years where they are truly a top 3A team.
people always want to say they are a 4A team because of their tradition….this year it feels like they belong in 3A. They have some dogfights ahead of them I think
they easily could still end up in LoS on Black Friday but I think there are 3-5 3A teams who are not scared of them at all. If anything…I think a few 3A teams want the opportunity to beat Chatard when usually 3A teams are trying to get them back to 4A or avoid them in the tournament
Spot on. It seems to me until IU really spends the money on a top coach and staff, this will never change. Even if the get an “up and comer” Coach, they won’t hold him.
It is really tough to watch….
No…my logic is that while perhaps fun, this is just hypothetical. Handle business first. Win the games you need to be crowned champion in your weight group. Then the “logic” of who beat who on a given night while playing schedules of vastly different difficulties becomes a discussion of a tad more merit.
I get it that you are invested in one of those teams.
Can’t argue with either of the spreads other than my Alices.
Reitz and Castle have favorable match ups.
MD has found themselves again IMO.
North looked nothing like a team that was fading late season. I feel they should be favored at home.
VL/Memorial is even. It’s gut check time for the Alices. The next two weeks carry a lot of weight. Compete and carry some momentum into the postseason .
I suppose that could be the case.
But from my POV, it’s been nothing but talented teams every single week. No team, including Reitz, can afford a week off. I think VL and Castle figured this out the hard way on Friday. Memorial and Jasper have now made themselves known (as I feared, Lincoln’s final 2 opponents).
For me, I can’t wait to see what happens late October/early November. Nothing but quality football this regular season. I believe we will see post season results.
Everything starts with the offensive line. While Bazelak looks off, the fact is he has been running for his life all f'ing night. So, what do you do? They do not have the players to even compete against Nebraska. So, we talk about Allen not being the guy. That is obvious at this point. But who is out there? The constant turnover is part of the problem. The program is going in the wrong direction and now the schedule gets a LOT tougher. Just so f'ing frustrating seeing crap like tjis year in and year out.
Both New Pal and Roncalli can beat any team in the state on any given night. However, to date, neither have anywhere close to the resume that Brownsburg does. New Pal has one “good” win and that’s against a 4-3 Westfield team. Roncalli got their first good win of the year last night. Beat Elder next week and then Roncalli belongs in the conversation of best team in the state.
Was watching this live!
hopefully he keeps it up and we get to see the PAC special of Brady Allen throwing/handing off to Mockobee in the years to come
Lets face it, Lutheran could beat everyone in 2a, including Mater Dei and Linton. I would like to see LCC play Lutheran, but the success factor took care of that. New Palestine is the best team in 4a and 5a. The Ihsaa should have left everything the way it was. I would like the see Harrison play New Palestine this year.
