  1. I had a roommate that met a smoking hot chick in BRipple back in the late 90s. They dated for a while, but when it became apparent she was also off the charts crazy...he dumped her. Fast forward 6 months, we bump into her at Rock Lobster. They hook up.... My roommate "She's got a new job, now." "She really doesn't go to bars that much anymore." "Guys, she's not really that Crazy". Within two weeks they were back together again. (Narrator in Morgan Freeman voice: "She was, in fact, still crazy.") I have no idea why I would be sharing that anecdote on this particular thread.🤪

  2. He won a MIC Championship at NC. Something that had not been done before. Everything went haywire after the COVID year.

  3. Not throwing any stones at anyone, just looking back over the last year of posts and saw this. Shoulda, coulda went for Purdy! 😂 Probably need to duct tape Irsay to his chair in the skybox and start with a blank piece of paper.

  4. Edgewood High School has posted an opening for a new head football coach for the 2023-2024 school year. Edgewood High School is located in Ellettsville (~8 miles west of Bloomington) in Monroe County. The Mustangs are a part of the Western Indiana Conference and are a small 4A school for football, 3A for all other sports. In 2019 we did a complete renovation of our football facilities including a new turf football field, expanded seating & a new press box for our home side, new locker rooms/coaching office at the facility, and more. This year we are taking bids to put new flooring in our weight room while also exploring opportunities to update the equipment for our weight room as well. Candidates are welcome to apply at the link below. If you have any questions, please email athletic director Mick Hammett and assistant athletic director Sam Jones. 6. Seems more difficult to schedule Ohio schools...do you think that is coming into play?

  7. O’Shea had a three year stretch early on that was the best since the mid 90’s. NC has a history of state champ coaches who struggle when arriving.

  9. Carmel and CG getting back into the MIC would be hysterical, but truthfully would be a good thing. The conference was fine as it was.

  10. Not a bad guess - at least given Temp's vague clues. But the TH Schools (who could also fit the "package deal" clue) dropped out of the MIC some time ago because of travel. I can't imagine in an era of budget tightening that schools would want to fund 2 hour round trip bus rides.

  11. Spot on...... He has not had an experienced GM and head coach since Polian and Caldwell. I believe that is absolutely for a reason. Irsay loves to be the puppetmaster and in the limelight. I have not seen an experienced head coach on his interview list with the exception of Dan Quinn. Maybe I missed some of the interviewees.

  12. Not cynical, just tired of all the small talk.

  13. Thought you would want to know. Ohio State has offered 2 of St. Ed’s offensive lineman in the class of 2024. They’re twins! How cool is that? Guess they’ll have a pretty good O-line coming back next year. https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-football-recruiting/2023/01/136883/the-hurry-up-ohio-state-offers-in-state-offensive-linemen-and-twin-brothers-deontae-and-devontae As always, it’s a great day to be an Eagle!

  14. Yeah, regardless if Pike won one State Championship and floundered into a Top 100 across the USA (97th just barely) The definition of a dynasty is not 1 State Championship over 14 years, I would better coin them as a (Cinderella or One Hit Wonder). Here is a better depiction for Indiana Dynasty's (2003-present) via Calpreps.

  15. IU offered CG QB Tyler Cherry. Finally... Edit to add: It won't be his last offer but Tyler is an IU football legacy. Grandpa played there.

  16. I have to admit I find this apparently above my lowly math skills as someone who’s basic background is a legal one and have somehow stumbled my way through 30 years of commercial real estate lease and investment analysis (and I will skirt around the whole Chatard/Reitz thing per above) but…………Pike? Pike? Am I on the hoops page?
