  1. one of the countless reasons why Football is the greatest team sport in the world is this very concept of one size doesn't have to fit all. Some coaches feel like the spread hurry up with RPO fits their teams and what they want to accomplish others like the Wing T, other like the Wing T out shotgun , others like under center wishbone/flexbone triple option, others like to line up 9 guys across the Offensive Front line, put their best athlete back in shotgun and run mesh and Qb Iso all day long (yea I am talking to you New Prairie) All systems can be successful. No different then teams that run 3 man fronts, 4 man, 5 man, 3-3 Stack 3-4 3-5 4-3 4-4 4-2-5 5-2 5-3

  2. A friend of mine brought up this question as well......remember late last year we were seeing the stories about so many people dying because their lungs were being destroyed by vaping? In general, vaping had not been considered that unsafe. It was the THC in the vape that was causing these problems. I am not sure what the thing is called that contains the material that is inhaled, but those were made in China. We had this discussion in our teachers lounge before the shutdown that there did seem to be a lot of absences and extended illnesses among staff and students late last semester. Not trusting the Chinese government at all, I have little doubt the virus was here before they reported their first cases.

  3. Karlaftis tied for the team lead with 7.5 sacks, led the team in hurries and TFL, and was named a Freshman All American. Sounds like a stud to me.

  4. Completely agree TojanDad. We, as a track staff, had held out hope but in retrospect, it seems as if this was a foregone conclusion 3-4 weeks ago. Definitely feel for our Seniors. We had 9 between the boys and girls teams which for a school with a total population of roughly 185 in 4 grades is pretty outstanding. And they were a great group of kids too, gonna miss them...

  5. Indiana gets a hometown commitment from Bloomington North tight end Aaron Steinfeldt. Steinfeldt was heavily recruited and held offers from Central Florida, Virginia, Boise State and others. Solid get for Tom Allen and the Hoosiers '21 class.

  6. Not you TD. Just don't see calling someone a fool as fun. In fact it's junior high mentality.

  7. TOP for Cardinals was one of the lowest in the league. Haven't looked at the details of how that happened though ... 3-and-outs vs. quick drive score, etc. Cardinals were at 27:41 ... by contrast, the Chiefs, who won it all, were at 29.27. Top of the league for TOP was Ravens at 34:47.

  8. Mayfield's taller than Brees. Mayfield's problem is that he plays for the Browns. Also, the Cardinals were 3-13 in 2018 under Rosen who was 6'4". Russell Wilson is only an inch taller than Murray and two inches shorter than Mayfield. His Seahawks finished 2nd in the NFC West. Guess that inch makes all the difference when running RPO.

  9. From what I've read ND looked at him but never offered. The Irish have really turned around their DL/DE recruiting the last few years so there is a lot of depth, but they do rotate and play a lot of bodies. Good get for the Hoosiers, I've heard this kid is a stud!

  10. Cardinals were ranked Top 10 in rushing last season and 24 in passing ... with more rushing than passing on whole. They were also in the Top 10 when rushing to the left and center that went for 10+ yards including #1 in number of 10+ rushes right in the center. They were Top 10 in rushing TDs and rushing yards.

  11. Tom Allen is a good recruiter. Usually the kids he lands are pretty bought in.

  12. In College football, many have said, once a kid Verbals to a school is when the real recruiting happens!!! I have no knowledge whatsoever on whether ND will offer or if they did if that will even impact his decision. I do know this, the young man is very good football player

  13. I've been accused of needing a tin foil hat for thinking this very thing. How else would China be able to bring the Western world economies to their knees?

  14. China Wants to Use the Coronavirus to Take Over the World: https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/04/coronavirus-pandemic-china-seeks-increase-geopolitical-power/ The government imposed shutdown the has destroy the American economy has to end, or we will also lose the economic and ultimately the cultural war with China. If we don't then China becomes the dominant economic force in the world, and the U.S. slowly slides into oblivion. Do you for one welcome your Chinese overlords?

  16. Not only did you whine about it, you pinned it, then whined when it got unpinned. Which of course turned into a giant pissing contest....much like you’re trying to bait me into here.

  17. But if you whine enough, Coach Nowlin will give you eleventy billion upvotes!

  18. Don't confuse DT with facts. It doesn't fit his narrative. I looked up data from last year for comparison purposes. I picked the same week for both states and used 6A for Texas and 6A/5A for Indiana. Here is what I found. Texas (92 games) - average score is 39-16 with 22% the winner scored more than 50 Indiana (44 games) - average score is 35-15 with 14% the winner scored more than 50 Colder weather could have kept down some of the scores, but it general those are pretty similar numbers.

  19. RPO's aren't a new concept. I've seen them in playbooks as far back as the 70's. Heck, even Bud Wright utilized an RPO 2 years ago against us in the sectional. Why would you not take advantage of an effective scheme? Your lack of football knowledge is very evident. The Bart Curtis and Russ Radtke's of the world still co-exist peacefully among the new wave coaching concepts, and the sky is not falling.

  20. Like in California the Coronavirus has probably already swept across much of Indiana. We are probably seeing the second wave of infections. But this time we have the MSM caused hysteria and the authoritarian government caused fear to contend with as well.

  21. By buying up the rest of the major American industries, who are all facing bankruptcy and diving stock prices due to the forced government shutdown. What part of the statement: do you not understand? That included with the latest 2+ billion "stimulus" bill (with possibly more to come according to some sources) and you have a U.S. government treasury with little to no wriggle room financially. No, other countries are going to start to lose faith in the U.S. dollar, and China will be happy to swoop in.

  22. So what line of work makes you such an "essential" employee? Apparently I don't qualify: https://www.cnet.com/how-to/coronavirus-unemployment-payments-applying-and-more/ Besides, am currently still working, and I don't accept government handouts. My spouse and I have enough financial liquidity to easily last for the next 6 months or so. Do you?

  27. If displaying the truth regarding the actions of another GID member is "whining" according to you and IO, then guilty as charged. Sorry that you and IO are so butt hurt about it. The world isn't fair, is it now?

  28. Again, educate yourself as to the economics behind the issue. As a socialist you are all in when it comes to "fairness", right Dante? Damage done to Puerto Rico by the Jones Act illustrates the need to repeal the law: https://thehill.com/blogs/congress-blog/politics/409752-damage-done-to-puerto-rico-by-the-jones-act-illustrates-the-need Are you a paid shill for the American shipping industry, Dante? Because unless you are there is no even semi-logical basis for your to support this outdated, ridiculous legislation.

  30. its accessible to the public, however our website is not a do what you want place This is correct: you all can stay if you can be civil.... Saw him at Purdue basketball game get introduced with David Bell, he was not the same size. I can confirm that Muda has not once ever reached out to me about the downvote game that you guys play with him. I under my own will decided twice to reward him with lots of "reputation" points just to see how long it takes to get down to zero from 1000. For my own entertainment. I do find it fascinating that folks want to stalk every post of his to just downvote him. True dedication to nonsense if I have ever seen one. Now: Get back to RPO discussions and we all can live happily ever after in this little world of the inter webs . GIPPER: You adding non stop "GIF" hasn't helped your cause in this current debate, just saying.

  31. No, it can't. Sorry that you have that Utopian vision, secure in your Hamilton County compound. This website my world? lol, hardly. Like you have stated yourself this website is primarily entertainment. My world is the interactions I have with the family, my friends, my co-workers, and my physical environment. It's supposed to be a pretty nice day today weather wise, gonzoron. Why don't you get out into it and do some walking/hiking? Ask and you shall receive.
