  1. Will never understand how IMG and their 20-30 D1 athletes beating an Indiana school on national television by 4-5 scores is good for Indiana football. But that's just me.

  3. This! We (Indiana as a whole) already do a good job of getting Ohio and Louisville teams on the schedule. I would love to see more games against Chicagoland teams. Chatard was supposed to play Joliet Catholic last year as well as Andrean was going to play Immaculate Catholic from the Western 'Burbs. The following games would be more enjoyable to me than IMG embarrassing an Indiana school: Carmel vs. 1 of the 3 Naperville schools (North, Central, Neuqua Valley) Carmel vs. Lincolnway-East Center Grove vs. Glenbard West or St. Rita Warren Central vs. Warren Township Cathedral vs. Loyola Academy or Mt. Carmel Ben Davis vs. East St. Louis Merrillville vs. Homewood-Floosmoor Penn vs. Maine South Cathedral vs. Nazareth Academy Chatard vs. Marist

  4. Instead of IMG, let's just do a regional challenge against neighboring schools where teams can play a neutral site on a Friday & Saturday. It could bring an even bigger excitement to the first two weeks of the high school football season, with these high-level matchups. No idea about if these matchups are truly feasible, I just got some rankings off of MaxPreps. NW Indiana schools vs Illinois schools (Lincoln-Way East vs Merrillville, Crown Point vs East St. Louis, Andrean vs Mt. Carmel Chicago, Warren Township vs Crown Point, etc. Indianapolis schools vs Ohio Schools (BD vs St. X, Warren vs Elder, Cathedral vs Pickerington Central, Chatard vs St. Edwards, CG vs Mentor, etc) Michiana and FW schools vs Michigan Schools (Penn vs River Rouge, Marian vs Catholic Central, Warsaw vs Muskegon, Homestead vs Davison, Snider vs Belleville, etc) Southern Indiana schools vs Kentucky schools, which I know a lot of teams already do, so they can continue to do what they've been doing for a while.

  5. Yes. Doesn't this just create an IMG opportunity to poach tallent?

  6. Strictly for purposes of discussion, because the 300 mile rule eliminates any chance of a matchup of anyone in the IHSAA, I agree with most here. IMG is one to avoid. They are a different animal. They are going to Cincy for 1 reason; looking for talent. I know that Georgia has banned their schools from playing IMG. There is nothing to be gained for any Indiana school to add them. As MICFan34 and Boilernation have shown; there are plenty of regional matchups for Indiana schools that are more logical.

  7. It’s now Facebook official, as new Head Coach Kelly Brashear is posting from the Pike Central football Facebook page. I’m not sure if this was the name you had heard or not. I assume it isn’t, but did not know. Regardless, best of luck to Coach Brashear and the Chargers.

  8. If Dwenger doesn't get out of sectionals, it's not because they are bad. It's because they are in the same sectional as Snider. Something's got to give. I agree with regard to the success rule. But I also don't have the perfect answer. I do like a four year success factor versus two.

  9. Knitting Group Offers Plush Prosthetic Penises Transgender Children Can Wear in Their Panties: https://redstate.com/alexparker/2021/05/18/knitting-group-offers-plush-prosthetic-penises-transgender-children-can-wear-in-their-panties-n382230 For those moms or dads who would rather their youngster have a firmer appendage, they’re out of luck: But also, they’re in luck: The Studio ensures, “Each Bitty Bug® is handmade to order.” And don’t let the presumption of size limitations put you off: Considering our societal evolution, one might say it’s a natural occurrence. In a relatively short time, the concept of binary sex appears to have been all but replaced by the notion of open-ended gender identity. As I covered in March, per its official educational standards, Nebraska was eyeing instructing kindergarteners on sexual identity and schooling 11-year-olds on pansexuality and demigenderism. For more on that last term, here’s Cosmopolitan: In California, officials have decided insurance companies can’t deny transgender mastectomy based on age. And as of April, New Jersey offers three options for “gender” on drivers licenses: As for educating children on the possibilities, Cartoon Network recently released a PSA explaining, “We can’t tell someone’s gender just by looking at them, and shouldn’t assume we know. There are many gender identities beyond ‘girl’ or ‘boy.’ Some people don’t identify as any gender!” Knitted genitals seem par for the projected course. Back to Stitchbug, it does make clear the intended age for its creations: The webpage also profiles its owners: Customers can pick from many colors (pink, barley, hummus, brown, chestnut, black, white, blue, purple). Perhaps more notably, progressive parents can choose a length: -ALEX I'm speechless on this one. This is basically child abuse, pure and simple.

  10. Currently the games are blocked out at 3.5 hour intervals (4 hour intervals this year) So it has been Noon/330pm/7pm. So using 2019 kickoff times, you'd have to add either an 830am or a 1030pm game. OR you bump everything back an hour and have a 930am/1pm/430pm/8pm schedule. The 930am kickoff teams are gonna have to travel the night before. If they are Indy metro, you are still getting kids up VERY early to meet at school, do your check/meeting, bus to LOS and be ready for a 930am kick. And anyone who's watched a lot of State games knows that evening game usually doesn't kick off on time. I'm not saying its impossible....just harder to do 4 games in one day. Especially if you are the early game. If you had two classes with Bye's....which should be doable if you had an 8 class system. Then playing two games the weekend before could be an option. Those classes would be a "week" ahead of the other classes (e.g. they would be playing "regional" games when the classes with more schools would be playing "sectionals") Its all up to whether or not the IHSAA & LOS would want to do this. And again, I'm not sold on the need for it.....but if you wanted to go beyond 6 classes, you'd need to figure this out.

  11. Doesn't any p/p playing a government school team create the same opportunity?

  12. Correct. I just don’t see the appeal in scheduling a football academy posing as a high school.
