  2. Agreed on Snider, but once they get to Indy… the metro schools are a different level. I don’t care who the north sends down, if they face a Indy area team, it’s like showing up to a gun fight with a knife.

  3. Well.. we play Seymour, which outside of Col East/North, not many better rivalries in So Ind, or better attended.... Our other non conf is Madison, after the 2yr contract with Indian Creek.. Every other game is a conf game.. We've played FC multiple times in JV/FR the last few years and I think we are playing each other, at that level, this season, as well.

  4. https://www.wthr.com/article/sports/nfl/indianapolis-colts/indianapolis-colts-introduce-new-alternate-uniform-indiana-nights-october-22-home-game/531-8c4e263a-f9ad-4696-9ecc-613c0d16df11 Disgusting, and a complete slap at tradition. What is with this continued fascination to adding black to a team's colors, even if black was never a part of it in the first place?

  5. Can’t lie. I’d love to see this game now. Brownstown wouldn’t be the walk in the park some think they’d be.

  6. The average high there is 78, so you have a great point. It is said turf adds 10-30 degrees, so that would still be pretty warm in August and September.

  7. I'm not sure what is uglier. The black or the red/blue/orange/yellow lines on it. I guess the soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey teams all get to share the field as well. And you thought band directors were protective of "field time" LOL. But until yesterday I had never heard of Morrisville, NY. So mission accomplished.

  8. My point is that its easy to point blame sitting in the comfort of one's own living room, while also claiming that they would have resolved it easily. That's called overconfidence...perhaps even delusion. Unless people were there on the sideline to see and hear what transpired between coaches, players and officials, they are speculating at best regarding who was at fault. Claiming to have the answers from afar is nothing more than what social media has evolved....arm chair experts. Nothing more or less. If I am allowed to speculate from the cheap seats, my guess is that the behavior of a select few made it difficult on the entire bunch, and given the experience of the coaches and officials, I am comfortable that the best decision was made to shut it down with the game well in hand....moving on to next year. My further guess is that following, some smart people will evaluate and look for improvements for future games. Bigger issues in the world than this one....

  12. How about this one today… I had to do a double take and make sure it wasn’t from the Onion or Babylon Bee… https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2023/07/19/us/mass-shootings-structural-racism/index.html
