Yo, the stage is set, the spotlight’s on,
Saturday afternoon, the action’s gon’ be strong,
Lucas Oil Stadium, the crowd’s about to roar,
Heritage Hills Patriots, they’re ready to score!

The 3A Championship, it’s do or die,
Against Bishop Luers, they’re aiming for the sky,
But the Patriots, they’re focused, they’re locked in tight,
Eyes on the trophy, they're ready to fight!

With the ball in their hands, they’ll make it count,
Every yard, every pass, every hard-fought mount,
Defensive line's fierce, they're bringing the heat,
Offensive plays sharp, they can't be beat!

The roar of the crowd, the stakes are clear,
But Heritage Hills knows what they’re doing here,
They’ll run the ball, throw it deep, and defend with pride,
This championship is theirs, they won’t be denied.

So get ready for action, the game’s about to start,
Heritage Hills Patriots playing with heart,
Saturday afternoon, they’ll take their stand,
At Lucas Oil, they’re the champions of the land!

No moms are allowed on this board....sorry.

To say their schedule doesn't stack up with Luers' schedule is comical. I'm tired of hearing the Summit league break their arms jerking each other off.

I'm all out of reactions, but this right here.... This is the line of the week!  Yes sirrrr! 😆

Sagarin - HH two touchdown favorite

John Harrell - 31-17 HH

Massey - 35-14 HH (Luers 14% to win)

CalPreps - 31-17 HH (Luers 19%)

The consensus is HH wins this game ~ 8/10 on a neutral field.  The gap is large enough that even Luers A game isn't enough. They have to execute & play mistake free + have HH play poorly & mistake prone. I just don't see it.

HH 42

FWBL 20

listen i've already stated i'm pulling for HH in this one, but what kind of nonsense is "according to people not playing the game the gap is large enough that even luers A game isn't enough to win"

It's reallly not hard to comprehend.

If both play their best, HH is 2TD+ better, and even just a "good" game by HH beats Luers playing at their best.

Lol, these guys put way too much stock into what a computer says the outcome is going to be. If HH wins by two scores, it has nothing to do with what technology says is going to happen. The amount of flaws with these things utterly massive. They're fun to look at, don't get me wrong, but at the end of the day they are just pretend. Sagarin says:

New Pal over Crown Point

East Noble over Cathedral

Heritage Hills over Fishers

Chatard over Carroll

Who really believes this crap?

I think new pal and crown point could be an incredibly good game

EN vs cathedral idk maybe I haven't got to see to much of either this season to be honest

Fishers is likely a bit to much for HH

and chatard v Carol could be a good game as well.

Agree they could be good games, I just think the wrong team is favored. For the record, my top twelve teams are all 6A programs. I've got Snider at #12, they trucked East Noble. Sorry, 6A is a different beast.

nah, I think there are plenty of 4/5a teams and a few 3a that could compete with a large majority of 6a programs on any given night.

I'd probably pick new pal and chatard to win those games, but I could be on the wrong end of that who knows

the other two I'd go with Fishers and cathedral but again could be wrong will never know. Only 11 players can take the field at any given time.

Opinion respected, but you don't get to beat a bunch of 4A schools and proclaim you're one of the best. I might concede my "top twelve" argument, but I'm absolutely sold that the top ten teams in the state are 6A.

Chatard on film looked a lot smaller than Carroll. I just don't see it. If my life depended on it, I'm taking Crown Point over New Pal. Now, no disrespect whatsoever to those programs. Chatard and New Pal are as good as anyone in the state at utilizing the resources that they have. But you know what? It's not a fair fight.

most years just about every class 6a included are extremely top heavy, which is what causes me to lend credit to the best of the lower classes being able to contend with some of the upper classes.

Crown point highly overrated all season and undoubtedly would come in as the favorite in the matchup, but 100 times out of 100 I will take New Pal and whatever points some idiot wants to give me in that matchup, I think they beat them by 2 touchdowns at least.

That same school walked into Center Grove (who ended up the runner up in 6a) a few years back and made them hold their pocket on the way out.

Chatard can compete with the middle of the pack of 6a on a yearly basis, nothing new there. Could they beat Carrol this year? maybe maybe not, but its certainly not out of the realm of possibilities.

again I'm picking cathedral/fishers to win their matchups, and I think cathedral probably has their way with them, but HH/fishers would at the very minimum be a fun game to watch, wouldn't expect a blowout at all.

1.   Yet they beat Westfield last season and their fan base felt this years team was even better. Saying they're overrated is a stretch.

2.   I'd give you 7pt all day every day. Might even give you 9.

3.   Why does everyone keep bringing up a team from 5 years ago? Will East Central be allowed to bring their 2023 team into converstation years down the road? Snider's 2004 team (the healthy one in the regular season) may not ever be duplicated by another Panther team.

4.   Agree on Chatard. Most years they could go somewhere between 9-15 in 6A. They seemed a bit off this year. Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves though. Cathedral is the cream of the Catholic crop, but struggle to advance when they get to 6A. Not sure why anyone thinks that a New Pal or East Noble would fare much better.

1. listening to a fan base is problematic

2. if only if only the game would be played

3. I've seen you personally bring up a team from 9 years ago more than once on the subject.

4. nobody is talking about winning the 6a tournament here, talking about 1 off games.

Let's get this thread back on topic.

Who's that?

Waiting on Rodney.

And I still think strength of schedule is important. Unfortunately, as you said, we won't get the opportunity to see New Pal play a 6A opponant this season. So we'll just have to place them in our pretend polls. Temp will have them inside his Top 10, I'll have them outside of mine. I'm not picking on New Pal, I just think 6A is a monster. Ralph gets the most bang out of his buck as well as anyone. Scary to think what he and a few other coaches around the state could do with an enrollment of 2500+.

Moving on to HH/Luers. Gotta love these forums and how they lead us up to a highly anticipated game. This thread doesn't disappoint.

Yep!! Jett Goldsberry, Parker Hart, Alex Smith, and Hayden Smith.  Hayden finished 7th last year in the BIG BOY weight class.

I saw him wrestle as a freshman. He was very impressive even then. We as a team won 2 matches against them that year, but nobody beat him. My son was heavyweight, he won both matchups.
