Luers is like that boxer ther doesn't have the best power, the best speed, the best size or the best technique. They take you into deep waters and find a way ton win. Not a can, a good pro boxer. A title contender perhaps.

Heritage Hills is Mike Tyson before prison.

Inshallah a team that lost to Southside is playing for a state title. As always, go Archers. And Luers. I just think the outcome feels kinda inevitable in this game.

I'll be surprised if Heritage Hills keeps this within 3 scores. Luers has played far and away better competition in the regular season. They will have way too much speed and their Dline will out-physical Heritage Hills Oline. Luers 31-6.

It may not finish within 3 scores, but you've got the wrong team on top lol.

If the part about Luers having played the far and away better competition in the regular season is true, it would be impressive if they actually beat those teams that actually ended up with a winning record. Luers did not beat a team that ended the season with a winning record until they beat Mississinewa in the sectional championship game. Maybe you are impressed with the teams they lost to in the regular season?

All Luers can do is play 4 quarters of the best football they have got in them. They must make HH beat them. Watching from afar, sometimes it looks like the Knights have a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde personality.  Luers must not beat themselves.  Very proud of Luers for reaching the title game.  I hope the Knights can keep up with HH.

Not a Luers fan, but HH is in for a fight with the Knights. Lots of state titles and every year people look at their record and underestimate them. Just don’t get it. Luers plays a heavy 5A and 6A schedule, pretty sure they don’t play any team below 3A all year. I have seen them finish 3-6 and 4-5 during the regular season and steamroll thru the playoffs. Whatever HH has, Luers has seen it from much better teams  than HH with more speed. Hope HH underestimates Luers as that will guarantee a red ribbon for HH

Although the PAC has not fared very well against Luers in the past (we dropped a close one in 02…36-30…and NP last year in a blow-out)- this HH team is up there with the best PAC teams I can remember.

Oddly enough- what I consider the BEST PAC teams I have seen personally both dropped games to Chatard in semi-state. The 02 Patriots lost in a turnover fest (still the best team for my money), and the Gibson team that lost in a snow game- don’t remember the year. (2021 GS doesn’t count- not allowed to build a “super-team” of transfers and get to be considered on the list as best all-time- just my opinion)

All that said- this HH team is up there and I believe takes care of business and wins rather handily)

You said North Posey was going to beat Luers easily last year.

Leo, North Side, and Homestead handle HH pretty easily from what I've seen on rewatch of HH. The South Side and Dwenger games were blunders, and Luers personnel on the field were going through some severe family issues, where anybody on here would backtrack their criticism if they knew or understood what was going on.

My point exactly. These Southern Indiana fans don't quite grasp the level of talent and athleticism that goes on in Northeast Indiana, the SAC in particular. A slight win or loss to a number of teams in the SAC stacks up much better than big wins vs. county schools south of Bloomington. Just a fact. These HH fans will soon understand what I am talking about.

I don’t quite get the outcry regarding Luers and the lack of respect.  This is a state finals game and I know HH expects Luers to be good.

I don’t remember saying “easily”- but yes, I will own that one.

That said- this HH squad is miles above where NP was last year.

They’ve experienced Chatard last year…played a Powerhouse from Louisville as well this year.

If Luers wins I’ll concede to the wonders of the SAC conference- I just don’t see it happening.

Because you’re blind apparently. Look,  what don’t you understand about Luers schedule as opposed to the cupcakes you play? HH would get rolled by 6-7 teams in the SAC yet you are arrogant enough to call for a 3-4 score win. Luers just beat 3 unbeaten 3A teams in a row yet you are crowing about your team. Great

Sounds like you’ve watched a lot of film on HH to know that.  I can’t wait to see how good Luers is and how HH compares!  I hope we can keep it close for at least a little while then.

Ask North Posey how that arrogance worked out. 40-3. Watched plenty of film on HH. I am sure that Luers will still decide to show up in Indy. Maybe HH wins, who knows, but stop acting like it’s a foregone conclusion that HH wins. This is not 6A where Indy owns it. Ask Decatur Central who everyone South of Muncie was picking to roll Snider last year, uh 34-6. Same with New PAL several years ago against Snider and Snider won. Luers has won many state titles, they won’t be scared of HH

Again, a great team is expected with Luers. I’ve never said anything about the result of this game. I do think you are underestimating HH with the “rolled by 6 or 7 other conference teams” comment but that’s okay.  We’ll strap it up and see what happens.  Looking forward to a great battle.

There it is...I wondered how long that would take.  TheRe iS no InDiaNa sOutH of BlOOmIngTOn.

Bloomington is NOT southern Indiana.

This is a neat discussion, truth is, we already watched the state championship game, it was played at the Jungle in the Sectional 32 Championship game.

I agree with the fella who said it would be a 3 score game. Heritage Hills second team gives up a couple late to allow Luers to get within 3 scores. 😏

Luers won’t have an answer for Goldsberry. Heritage Hills 35 Luers 14
