I would love to know how many of the teams being discussed in this thread use drones to film their games? The IHSAA doesn't allow drones in their tournament.

I could be wrong but I believe the Fountain Central Mustangs, led by Hall of Famer Herb King, have been using a drone to film all of their games this year

It seems like the majority of teams have adopted these from what I have witnessed. Once tournament time comes around they often switch back to old school.

@Bobref Do you know why the state allows drones during the regular season and not the tournament? They provide some wonderful footage.

My understanding is, since the tournament is run by the IHSAA, unlike regular season games which belong to the host schools, it’s an insurance thing.

Fountain Central comes in red hot as they are winners of 6 of their last 7, averaging 44 points per game while allowing just 8 during that stretch. The Mustangs’ defense has been dominant, but South Putnam will be their toughest test yet. Expect this one to be a battle that’s not decided until the final quarter.

FC 6 wins are against a combined 15-35 opponents

Their 4 losses are against a combined 33-7 opponents

They seem to struggle when the other team is good, and it just so happens that South Putnam is really good.

6 of their last 7 and their signature win was who? They didn't beat a team that ended the season with a winning record and got drilled by RP and Seeger.   Running clock.....

South Putnam made a statement Friday night by dominating a very very good Fountain Central Mustang squad 45–7. FC was easily one of the toughest opponents they’ll face all season but South Put controlled the game from start to finish. At this point it’s hard to see anyone in 1A slowing them down. They look poised to walk right into the state finals.

How Familiar are you with South's Schedule? I'm not sure FC would more than two games on their schedule. I have come to the conclusion that you sir should win the ultimate troll award. Congratulations!
