Bobref Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 My first trip to Lawrenceburg tonight. At the risk of causing this thread to veer in a whole different direction ... how did it come to be called Stinktown? 1 Quote
SEAL_63 Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 First, gotta say The Pit looks like a fantastic venue to see a game. Love the placement and layout. Sort of reminds me of the Reitz Bowl on a smaller scale. Had Vincennes won last night, I’d be pulling for the Tigers today. But with Lincoln bowing out, I’m hopping on the Pats train to StinkTown. My gut just tells me Chatard/HH are on a collision course. It’d be great to see those groups of linemen duke it out. 3 Quote

Ryan11p Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 Just looking for some insight here from the Lawrenceburg side a couple years ago I really studied the Mason Paris lead 2016 team partly due to my love of HS wrestling. Since I haven't really watched a ton of film on either of these teams this I wanted to ask how does this years Tigers matchup to that team. I was really surprised that team didn't win state, I remember the State championship game well and I guess I just didn't give that Concordia team enough credit. So 2016 vs 2019 Tigers give me some insight. I'll be watching my first game of either team tonight goodluck to both. Quote
Boilernation Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 Lawrenceburg has some nice facilities, especially the new basketball arena. Did the casino help fund those? 7 hours ago, Bobref said: My first trip to Lawrenceburg tonight. The new gym, entrance, and turf project was roughly a $14 million project, I believe. The city of Lawrenceburg contributed via a $4 million grant, if memory serves me correctly. Quote
hhpatriot04 Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 I'll make a TGD donation for 2021 for the first Patriot tailgater/fan to post a photo with a Clown or anyone from Stinkburg. 1 Quote
