  1. yet countless times we have members who want to push their personal belief systems onto a high school message board dedicated to football. Makes A LOT of Sense doesn't it............... there is no end game in site, yet battle lines are drawn in the cesspool of circular non stop back and forth where no one is going to "win" the battle yet the battle continues to rage on for no apparent reason other than folks love to hear themselves talk. back and forth, day after day, then it gets spilled into these threads where information is being shared. If anyone utilizes this website to gather and form their views of the World outside of High School Football than it is a sad state of affairs. Yet, folks think they're voice matters, when in reality it doesn't. Anything outside of High School football discussions, my voice does not matter. I can go off and spew my personal beliefs, religious beliefs, political beliefs, but why should I?? It means NOTHING to this site and my voice is not going to change anyone's mind on anything. See no purpose on keeping this nonsense open any longer either.

  2. We had a good couple pages too. They may as well just lock every covid thread until people just head to OOB forum

  3. All that makes too much sense. In the meantime we will just continue to make fun of the IHSAA and why they do things so backward. A 9-0 team goes on the road to play an 0-9 team in the first round. Or even better, two 9-0 teams square off in one game and two 0-9 teams square off in the other. An 0-9 team earns the right to play another week while a 9-0 team cleans out their lockers. Everyone except the IHSAA knows this is stupid, but I'm sure we'll get some politically correct responses.

  4. How many references do you want? https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/06/200612172200.htm https://www.ucsf.edu/news/2020/06/417906/still-confused-about-masks-heres-science-behind-how-face-masks-prevent https://www.advisory.com/daily-briefing/2020/06/16/mask-covid http://med.stanford.edu/news/all-news/2020/06/stanford-scientists-contribute-to-who-mask-guidelines.html I can list as many more as you need to get it through your head that masking works. Now, in return, how about a list of scientific references from you supporting the notion that the best way to address the threat posed by SARS-CoV-2 is just to make sure everyone gets the disease? I’ll sit down and wait for your answer.

  6. Yeah, I couldn’t post next week’s links yet. You asked for the science. I provided it. Where’s yours? ... That’s what I thought. Your opinion, like those of some other frequent fliers on here, is driven by your personal desires and your personal politics. Not by science ... or logic. They say misery loves company. I guess ignorance does, too.

  7. Yes, more "free stuff" in the form of the asinine "health care is a human right" mantra of the progressive left.

  8. The science? Show me the science that states this. I have seen the same people stating it helps say the exact opposite on a separate day. If I say, “the science clearly states masks don’t protect you”. Does that make it true? Do you know what the Science does clearly state? We will all likely be infected and the higher the %, the less dangerous it becomes.

  13. 1 - Define a "holistic" public health oriented approach..... 2 - Get ANYONE to understand what that means...... The LEO's exist to enforce the law. There are a few bad ones and they need weeded out, but this "feel good" approach to enforcing the law will fail wherever it is tried...... This Council will ruin Minneapolis.

  15. I prefer to live on the west edge of any time zone to maximize daylight at the end of a day rather than the beginning. I'm perfectly fine with ET. I often work with people around the country and I prefer to be aligned with those on ET. If we were CT I would have to start an hour earlier each day to be aligned with those on ET. End of day seems to have more flexibility. Just my personal preference.
