Agree! The play looked to be over when Danville sacked the Brebeuf QB on the 4th down of the OT. The players that did come on the field did not come on that far, and as the announcers said, they had no impact on the game. Looked like a total screw job by the refs.2 points

Not necessarily. There were a few penalties that wiped out some big plays and caused drives to stall out. I can think of two off the top of my head. It didn’t help that Danville went about 80 yards in 4 plays on one of those 4th quarter drives. After that happened, momentum was squarely behind them.1 point

It wasn't the only questionable call of the night. The game lasting 3 1/2 hours says a lot about the quality of the officiating. It's been many years since I've seen a team win on a fifth down.1 point

It's not a "Gibson" thing. Gibson Southern isn't holding it up in any way shape or form and has no right to refuse during the tournament. Hopefully, we can avoid a blowout...feels really odd being an underdog to HH under these two coaches. But it can also feel good not having anything to lose, can make a team dangerous.1 point

Must be a Gibson thing as we’ve had all of the games available if the opposing home team allows it. I also saw something about an IHSAA regulation for the tournament so who knows. Maybe they fear another blowout and that there wouldn’t be much interest after halftime? 🤷🏼♂️1 point
