This is for interesting and/or unique stats for a team, or for a league. Here is a fun one Since 1977-78, NBA teams up at least 7 with 40 seconds left in the 4th quarter or OT in a playoff game were 1,609-0 going into last night's Pacers game against the Bucks. That record is now 1,609-1. The Bucks had a late lead in regulation along with a 20 point lead in the 2nd quarter.1 point

He has official visits scheduled with Ole Miss, Rutgers, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Purdue. It moves quickly but I believe those are correct. Tyler Ruxer with official visits scheduled with West Virginia, Duke, Northwestern, Purdue. Not sure if there is a fifth scheduled.1 point

I'm pretty sure Taylor changed their game plan due to the weather. Most of the season they threw the ball over 50% of the time. They also were stuck inside the 25 towards the South End-zone the whole 3rd quarter and did not allow a score. Would the game have been different in better weather??? Perhaps, but on that night, Taylor fought their rear ends off and came out of there with a victory.1 point

They were incredibly talented team the 2 years we faced them !!! The giant boys we had up front...if only it was turf so we could lean on all those athletes for 3 to 4 yards a carry.... and play keep away !!!! 😂1 point

DeVries had WVU ranked last season in his first season in P4 with a fraction of the resources IU has lol The difference DDV is... he built Drake. Drake was AWFUL before he got there. 11 I liked Malik... though he never should have been a starter.... MM is the most selfish player I've witnessed wear an IU uniform.1 point

Another example of bad weather bringing teams closer together was the NIGHTMARISH hurricane game last year in Sheridan. No disrespect to Taylor, but those two teams weren't close until a hurricane rolled through town.1 point

The biggest ‘mud game’ that comes to mind is 2006 Jasper @ Ev Central in the sectional. Best team Central had in school history (at the time) ended up losing to the Power Pitch of the Wildcats in standing mud. 8-7 final score. I would guess Central wins by 2-3 TD’s on a dry field. It’s the main reason all EVSC schools got turf a year later.1 point

One thing that jumps out at me when looking at the Bears’ activity in free agency and the draft is that they actually have a plan. Poles and Johnson are clearly on the same page: trying to build what the Lions have done in Detroit under Campbell. It’s been a while since I thought they had anything like a coherent plan in Halas Hall.1 point

Great example. Central beat Memorial that year 63-7.........Jasper beat them 16-7. Only common opponent that year I believe. Not sure why it's hard for some to grasp the fact that bad weather brings unequal teams closer together.0 points
