  1. According to 247, Memorial’s Hartig is now a 3 star and ranked the #4 best OL in the state. That is one big accomplishment!

  6. A copy and paste from last July. Michigan came in at #12, but 2021 changes the score a little. Probably enough to make them a Top 10 program. Points given for qualification of College Football Playoff and where teams stood in the final AP Poll. Any surprises or head scratchers? I was surprised Michigan came in at #12.............two Top 10 finishes in the last 5 years. 1. Clemson 125 2. Alabama 113 3. Ohio State 100 4. Oklahoma 94 5. Georgia 68 6. Notre Dame 55 7. Penn State 47 8. Washington 43 9. LSU 42 Wisconsin 42 Next up: Florida, Michigan & Auburn Best of the rest: Texas A&M Consideration: Oregon & Baylor

  7. 1. So now it’s “big games?” ND has dominated its “rivals” in USC and Navy (lol) and won at home against Clemson last year. Who gets to decide what’s a big game? There are tons of things for programs to negative recruit and bowl games are low on the list. How many teams would trade places with the Irish and dream of getting to the playoff? 2. Your comparison of Indiana basketball still does not fit dude. IU Basketball fans talk out of both sides of their mouths. You pretend Purdue is irrelevant and then you rush the floor when you beat them. Your annual March tradition is rooting for them to lose in the tournament so you can somehow throw shade and brag about your “banners.” At least Michigan football’s rivals are winning conference championships and OSU even won a title. 3. I gave you the win/loss records of the programs in question that you had around Michigan. Each of them has had one solid year (more so in the case of a couple) but the ones you mentioned also had that year where they missed bowl eligibility (which is embarrassing in the current college football world where over 50% of the country gets a bowl bid). Michigan’s “down year” was 8-5. 4. If 4-3 is “owned” then Purdue is using a ball gag on IU in basketball.

  8. You'd be mad too if transfered your daughter from Reitz and paid $8k in tuition to be part of a "championship run", only to come up short. I mean, that is the expection right....pay the $8k and get a trophy?

  9. I can see the logic in that, coming from a Packers fan. Same with a Buffalo fan.

  11. Sean McVay, IMO, is the epitome of a "Bro Coach"... and he seems to be doing ok. 😉 That said, I struggle not to roll my eyes when he streaks down the sideline to celebrate with his players in the endzone. I'm more of a happy medium kinda guy, myself. You know, somewhere between the arms crossed perpetual scowl of Landry and the cartwheeling sideshow of McVay. 😁

  18. The only opinion in my last post was about the coordinators. The rest are facts. 4-10 against Michigan State is absolutely a fact. 4 wins against Ohio state since 2000 is absolutely a fact. Haven't played in a Rose Bowl in over 15 year is absolutely a fact. Haven't won a Rose Bowl in 20+ years is absolutely a fact. Harbaugh interviewing with the Vikings is absolutely a fact. Michigan has a losing record against Ohio State and Michigan State and a .500 record vs Penn State since Harbaugh has taken over. They've finished better than 3rd TWICE in their own division in said time frame. Facts my friend. Michigan is no longer your daddy's Michigan. Haven't been in awhile.

  19. “You don’t matter to us and we are going to prove it by making yet another thread 6 pages long telling you why.” A wise man once told me: “If you have haters it probably means you’re doing something right.” Geez people. Just keep scrolling if that’s honestly your take. YOU are the rocket fuel.

  22. I’m sorry, I can’t get past #1. I think you’re mind is slipping a little in your retirement. I seem to remember things being a bit more heated back in the day of The Horde. And you bringing up your nostalgic memory of TA is laughable. He is the guy who banned you from this forum for doing the same shit you’re doing right now. You’re here because the GID has the fan base you need. The bottom line is you don’t have whatever it takes to accomplish whatever it is you’re trying to accomplish. I believe you have some insight, knowledge, and could be a contributor for HS Football in the state of Indiana. It’s the disingenuous ego driven manner in which you do it that rubs people wrong. The post is a prime example, once I read the first item, most of the rest of it is dismissed based on the fact the first paragraph is total BS.

  25. Don't get me started on US 30. It's bad enough that Fort Wayne is the largest city in America without an urban expressway system. INDOT for whatever reason places no priority on an interstate between Columbus, Fort Wayne and Chicago. That's a head scratcher that I'll never be able to figure out. The state of Indiana has a goal to increase population in Northeast Indiana, so what the hell are they waiting for? Fort Wayne is the fastest growing metro in the great lake region without any help from INDOT. Imagine if INDOT jumped on board.

  26. If I am being complete honest and realistic here, your argument would have a stronger hold IF the Tigers were already the "tallest midget" in the NLC, yet consistently falling short in the state tournament. That is not the case. In the last 3 decades, Warsaw has 3 outright NLC football championships ('90, '00, '01) and 3 shared NLC football championships ('92, '99, '20). 6 conference championships over 30 years makes you far from the tallest midget. As well, their postseason history over that 30 year period only includes 9 Sectional Championship appearances (including last year's where they had the "luck" of a double-bye into the game) with only 1 Sectional title ('19). IF Warsaw was dominating the NLC year in and year out and consistently making it to a Regional or Semi-State level in the tournament, only to fall short, I would give your suggestion of the Tigers needing to make a conference change more credence. However, that is not the case currently. Adding regular games against Carroll, Homestead, Snider and Dwenger would be mildly more of an improvement over the current schedule. I do not believe it would truly add that much value. Last year's Sagarin ratings as comparison between those 4 teams and the top 4 NLC teams (excluding Warsaw) 84.43 - Carroll 71.18 - Homestead 69.09 - Snider 67.32 - Dwenger 73.01 - AVERAGE 78.38 - Mishawaka 72.38 - Concord 65.77 - Northridge 59.06 - NorthWood 68.90 - AVERAGE

  27. I really wish you'd stop pushing this. You are the only one who consistently does. I understand your arguement as to why it could potentially make sense for the Tigers when it comes to "preparing" them for a 6A state wide contender in football, but conference affiliations affect all sports, not just football. The NLC is a great spot for all Tiger athletics.

  30. I don't see what any of this has to do with high school football. I guess the guy must live rent free in your head if you can't avoid commenting or sending ridicule his way on a high school football board. There are plenty of places on the internet for political commentary, parody, general scorn and ridicule, but this part of the forum shouldn't be it. Just my $0.02...and for the record, I'd say that about the last guy, too.
