There are teams to support and bills to pay.

It's (past) time to pay the bills. I try to run this site on a July 1st to June 30th fiscal year, so I'm a lot late this year.

Our average monthly budget is a little over $300, plus we ran a deficit for the last two years. I have covered the shortage myself to the tune of more than $2000. I'm going to leave the target goal this year at $ 4,000. Let's see if we can achieve it this season.

We have managed to run this site on crowdfunding for more than 20 years. That goes back to before crowdfunding was even a coined term. We thank you all for your donations and your passion for the sport.

Once again, there is now a new Booster group available. The old group is now exposed to the ads on the site.

To be placed in the Booster 2024-25 group and have the ads hidden from view until July 1, 2026, make a donation of $40 or more anytime this fiscal year, and we will manually process your donations as fast as life allows us. (And don't worry, anyone who made a donation since July 1, 2025, will be credited accordingly. Just give us time to process it.)

Thank you for all your past and your continued support of the Gridiron Digest.

I started writing this almost 24 hours ago and got distracted by something. I opened this browser today and see it sitting here....

That's quite literally the story of my last month or so in an example.

I was trying to make a donation thru PayPal but ran into some problems with that, so I got a donation in the snail mail headed in your direction.

Donation has been submitted through PayPal. A little more than the $40 asked but Mrs ArmyVet80 and I just got home from Scotland and haven't completed our budget for the rest of 2025 yet. 🤣

Thanks to all who have donated so far. I don't have access to the apps to accept payments, so I wait until they show up as approved before updating the settings. So if you sent a payment and still see ads, it will end soon, I promise 🙂

How long do they normally take to show up as approved?

Went throught and found the accounts that had not been updated yet:  Thanks to ALL

There was about 10 accounts that needed to be approved on the financial end, I think I got those updated:

The 4 accounts who sent in USPS check I or Irishman have to wait until DK says he has the check in hand

Cheers

I sent a check two weeks ago, so I hope he has it by now since it hasn't cleared my bank yet.

Hopefully it didn't get hung up at the high tech postal distribution facility in Indy. They have caused me a lot of issues with ebay shipments.

First of all, I appreciate the work everyone does on this site.  That being said, I find I am unable to access it a majority of the time (>50%).  I get a denial of access alert, page slow to respond.load, etc.  Is there something different I need to be doing to access this site consistently?

I don't have PayPal or Venmo, how can I make a donation?

Open the link. Click the button 'Donate toward this goal'. Enter the amount you want to donate. On the next screen it will give you the USPS option to mail a check. I assume the address will be on the next screen after you select the option.
