GID was down for 2 days, he's gotta get his post count back up. First time he'd seen the sun in 4 weeks is what someone reported on Facebook.

Odd that one high school football fan would attack another on their passion for the sport they share a common interest in. We need more posters on here who are obsessed with the sport. DT provided a lot of content.

Sorry, but regardless of how well they are playing today, Marcus Freeman is on thin ice with me. Every year they have at least one pathetic effort. It’s his job to make sure that doesn’t happen. In 3 years he’s got losses to Northern Illinois, Louisville, Marshall, and a Stanford team that was a laughingstock in a laughingstock conference. None of those teams should EVER beat Notre Dame. It’s his responsibility to make sure that the effort is there, and he hasn’t done it consistently enough for me. Not by a long shot.

It won't matter as long as he's posting 10 win seasons. A three loss season this year would warrant his firing though. This is an easy schedule that screams undefeated or one loss with the talent on this team.

Folks with that kind of passion should have either 1. Thicker skin, or 2. A sense of humor.

If they don't have either, not someone I care to engage with.

I just don't think the "amount of time" one is here is relevant.

Don't shoot the messenger. I was just relaying information. 3 pages ago.

I agree to a point.  I was really upset last week because I realize what kind of talent they have.  Playing down to their opponents level is unacceptable!

They’re like a Triple A shortstop who wants to make the show. They make great plays. But then an easy ground ball goes right between their legs. You don’t see those guys in the big leagues.

You should have higher self-esteem when speaking to yourself in the mirror.

It's looks like the Irish will win an ugly one.  But they'll have a tough time beating anyone down the line without a more accurate QB.  He runs nice though.

Nothing comes easy for this team. It was an ugly win.

Yeah, it's not going to get any better until they can throw the ball down the field some.  Riley Leonard isn't the answer.  He and Marcus seemed to be a tandem though.  I'm not sure they'd win a game if they make the playoff.  Oh well, they have a week off to try and get things rolling, if they can.

Hey.. still think Curt Cignetti is a certified clown? I mean you aren't even posting on IU threads anymore, guess since you were completely wrong about that guy, have to find another team to go after.

Love folks that keep receipts.  Yeah, he is still a clown.  Let's pump the brakes a bit huh?

Also, you forgot ALL CAPS.

Dude’s 124-35 spanning multiple levels of football. That’s quite literally all he does is win.

Five wins as a power 4 coach.

He’s going to win 10+ games at a school who has never won 10 games in a season at any point during its 137 year history. And he’s going to do it with a bunch of former G5/FCS level players. Let that sink in. Wait till he starts getting P5 level players regardless if it’s at IU or another program who hires him away.

Until he has a few years of success in Bloomington and Ann Arbor comes calling. Or Happy Valley.  Or South Bend. Or Madison.  etc...........................
