Notre Dame's argument for CFP snub is hypocritical, naive https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/college/notre-dame/2025/12/09/notre-dame-football-argument-cfp-snub-hypocritical-pete-bevacqua-ad-athletic-director/87691142007/?tbref=hp Nice takes by Mr. Baird.2 points

Thanks for this by the way Coach. We may have our disagreements but you’re a real straight shooter. Taking the fact that a families’ entire life was turned upside down tonight (which is the real travesty) out of the equation, I’m going to say something that confirms this very point told by @Coach Nowlin. The fact that this story broke two weeks ago and was squashed by all of Michigan’s insiders and then breaks as TRUE just a week after national signing day is an awful look and seems calculated. Was hoping my favorite football program would be better than this. Apparently not.1 point

There is a guy out there who needs a job. And he has very strong ties to the state of Michigan. Just sayin’.1 point

Eh, going too far about Temp being level headed. He still believes Harbaugh and his cronies did nothing wrong despite all of the evidence to the contrary. I am proud to see a little growth in the young Jedi to acknowledge that Moore is a doofus though…👍1 point

Guess now official. Sigh. Feel really bad for the young man. https://247sports.com/college/indiana/article/indiana-iu-hoosiers-football-de-stephen-daley-season-ending-injury-265841800/?fbclid=IwZnRzaAOm5DxleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAo2NjI4NTY4Mzc5AAEen6DkqVKVPIsyT_-G-pNOWUBIDvXuKOSWumM16jsMdklABQ47lJwHBEZqySk_aem_ZmFrZWR1bW15MTZieXRlcw1 point

I think this shows many of you all, that our good pal or foe here @temptation is very level headed imo when it comes to Michigan, this shows he is not just blindly follower of all things Maize and Blue, You can disagree of the impact of signs and Harbaugh, and all that, but there isnt just blind loyalty as seen here I am with others: I think its a blessing LONG term imo1 point

Silly me looking for the real school name of BEN Davis instead of the ridiculous "DAVIS" that this list is calling it. BEN DAVIS is the school name. It's named after a place that was named after a person. The place was known as Ben Davis.1 point

Schedule is a freaking joke, just like this year. Notre Dame is an island unto itself…1 point

Notre Dame is so mad at the playoff committee that they're going to take it out on Rice University.1 point

Sheesh. So Columbus East, Jeffersonville, New Albany, and now Seymour are all looking for new head coaches. And with Jennings County going independent, Brayden Tidd is now the second longest tenured football coach in the HHC. 😂1 point

I don't recall Justin Wynn sharing time defending Samardiza, but I'll take @Justasportsfan's word for it. I just remember the media making a big deal out of a 5'8" (Kevin King maybe) kid who spent much of the night defending him. Regardless, I acknowledge Samardiza as one of the great players to come out of the state, I just didn't get to see much the one time I saw him in person.1 point

Pretends to be shocked !!! Did you happened to catch the clip about his recruitment of Adrian Peterson when he was at USC and him trying to get his dad transferred to prison in LA county so he could watch him play, Adrian said that is why he is going to Oklahoma bc the jail his dad is in plays Sooner games1 point

Probably a moot point, although you're right. Early projections are calling them a Top 3 team. Talk about waking a sleeping giant. The sham that took place on Sunday will propel team to heights next season that will make the haters lose their minds. My only concern next season is the schedule and whether it will prepare them for the playoff.1 point

Unwarranted arrogance when comparing on field results to perceived elite status if you ask me. They have gone from "look at our trophy case" to "we get the most eyeballs" as their rally cry. They used to boast about their own TV network, now every P4 conference has one, lol. The next 9 months will tell us if they have learned anything from this experience or if they are going to continue to play the victim and make fools of themselves.1 point

There's a certain NFL Hall of Famer from Ben Davis missing from the list.1 point
-
I have joked with Mike Kirschner, Jason Simmons and Russ Mann over the years that I'm going to sneak into the locker room and dispose of the Ben Davis black jerseys with purple numbers. Purple and white are great colors. When the black pants or those black jerseys get mixed in, that's not Ben Davis to me...and it's annoying to broadcasters, PA announcers or anyone who needs or wants to see jersey numbers. That's my two cents anyways.1 point
-
Not necessarily saying they are missing anyone just surprised that a school with that much success combined with its size is behind so many other programs.1 point

I would take the bet he does not go. he just signed an extension one year ago. he is getting $9 Million a year now with it. The extension also removed the Ohio State and NFL opt outs. That means he is locked in with Notre Dame until 2030. If he goes, he will owe the school. Daboll was getting $5 Million a year from the Giants. Are they really going to double that?1 point
-
I assume this will be filled pretty quickly. I have no new insights. I trust the institution of Patriot football to find the next replacement. I believe they will do a great job and won't miss a beat next year. Small request would be Wishbone in goal line situations. 😛1 point

Anyone wanna make a list of the best players they played against while in High School? I'll go (in no particular order) Jack Kiser - Pioneer George Karlaftis - West Lafayette Jackson Anthrop - LCC Coy Cronk - LCC Matt Desomer - Andrean Some would say it was an honor, I called it multiple ass kickings that I took.1 point

Lymon had the world at his fingertips, NFL talent all the way. What a shame. I don't believe Goodman and Kelly had a good relationship. I think John would have prospered at IU.1 point

Ok so since you did say the name....😀 Kevin is the natural choice, but he is the Vice Principle now. There was question when he became VP if he would even be able to continue as an assistant. His VP job could possibly stand in the way of being head coach. They made Alcorn quit as wrestling coach when he became an admin.1 point

When did Black become another official school color for virtually every high school in the state?1 point
-
The only uniform policing I care about is are the numbers clearly contrasting from the jersey (and that means purple-on-black or gray-on-white DO NOT COUNT. That's not enough of a contrast) so they can be seen from the stands and press box.1 point
