Without even looking, I assume those two were Sectionals 28 and 32.
If the case, it wasn't “irony”...it was “truth”.
From the day the sectionals were announced, most of us figured the winners of those two sectionals would meet at LOS.
I didn't see a thread on this, so here we go.
Some notes/predictions:
-Memorial is the defending 4A state champion/SIAC champion after an amazing run, but loses a ton of seniors
-Central is also defending its co SIAC championship with Memorial and returns key players
-MD is defending their sectional title, should be a contender for the SIAC
-North will have a winning season
-Castle will see improvements
-VL and Jasper will be great opponents in the near future
-Bosse and Harrison will both continue to struggle in conference play, but hopefully improve
-Reitz will have some struggles at first, but will overcome
Not the best notes, but well enough to start a conversation as the conference will have another crazy year
I’ve been to France. They get all bent out of shape if we use the wrong dialect, etc. I calmly replied that if it weren’t for Papa Gipper and 100,000 of his buddies we’d all be speaking German...
Give BROHM TIME: LOOK AT WHAT HE LEFT, These are guys he had some say in Recruiting
https://www.ourlads.com/ncaa-football-depth-charts/depth-chart/wku/92775 4 out of the 5 guys on the Depth Chart are RS JR (3) and RS SR: All 4 of them would of been Freshman/Soph in Brohm's final year.
20. WKU HILLTOPPERS
Highest-graded player: OT Cole Spencer – 81.9 (25th)
Four of their seven highest-graded players on offense this season were offensive linemen, as the Hilltoppers utilized a dominant form of play to win nine games this season. As a unit, they ranked first in pass-blocking grade this year, surrendering a pressure on just 12.7% of their pass-blocking snaps, the eighth-lowest percentage in the FBS.
Turns, out, not 1 but 2 kids. cannot confirm one of them was Griffin, however, timeline matches, but who knows and quite honestly, means nothing just off season babble from this meathead. I should put myself in the shame line
I have a buddy who's into work efficiency big time. He started wearing these and bought them for his crew. I just laughed at him. Of course he retired at 55 very comfortably so I guess the joke's on me, but there's no way in hell I'm wearing those things.

Probably not. There will be some great games up north between Penn, Snider, Homestead, Merrillville, Layfayette Jeff, Crown Point, Warsaw, Carroll and new mega school Elkhart. But at the end of the day, the true "king" is enrollment. Carmel, Warren Central, and Ben Davis have won 15 of the last 19 state championships and more than likely will win again in 2020.
Where does this put Woodlan? They've started to go the other direction lately after being dominant in the ACAC. Will they be back to playing spoiler and close to the top but not quite there?
Along these lines: The New York Times, NBC, and Other Outlets Don't Trust You To Handle the Truth: https://reason.com/2019/10/14/the-new-york-times-nbc-and-other-outlets-dont-trust-you-to-handle-the-truth/
Here's the video that the Times was quick to write about but refused to link to in its online coverage (forget about embedding!). Decide for yourself is this is too much for regular folks to handle:
The video, which was originally posted to YouTube over a year ago, had virtually no views until the Times' coverage; as of this writing, it had more than 136,000 views on the channel above and has been viewed millions more times in various YouTube and Twitter iterations. The Times' leadership seems more than willing to grab readers' eyeballs by talking about the video, but they are not willing to provide readers with easy access to the offending material.
