A year or two ago, it would have been theoretically possible for GS to have played Princeton in Semi-State and they are within 10 miles of each other. I say theoretical because it would have taken 4 forfeits for Princeton to go that far, but it was nonetheless possible. And yes, Princeton beat us in 2015. LOL.3 points

I think when Eric Moore is gone, Center Grove will fall to the lowly level of Fishers, Hamilton Southeastern, and Westfield.1 point

Is that Eric Moore High School? I mean, we love the man but I don't think we're gonna rename the school. 😁1 point

Which part is uncalled for? I said I respected him and he should be praised etc. etc. Do I have to come to the alter you have for him and kiss the feet of his golden statue? Again, you're proving my point, everyone loves to call "blasphemy" at the drop of a hat but not one person will answer the questions I have about the clear issues. Respond to those instead of crying for Bud Wright, he's surely taken plenty of criticism in his long tenure, this is nothing! Tell me how running the same plays 3-4 times in a row consistently is good coaching. Tell me how running the EXACT same defense, no changes, no adjustments, everyone 2 yards off the ball every play even in 3rd and 20+ is good coaching. If you can't answer the questions and tell me how these and other coaching decisions are considered good coaching and make Sheridan coaching untouchable to criticism, then you need to keep your mouth shut.1 point

Rodchester and Andrean both TO'd it 4 times... why Lcc and LaVille r still playing b my guess....1 point

There's probably a couple kids on the team who's dads seasons were ended... EVERY YEAR by Bob Clayton and his Patriots.1 point

Are you like this at parties too? I said what I said. Sometimes you beat each other up. It can drain you at the end of the year. So, you bring in a college example. Cool. You win. Got me. Go spike a football in my crushed ego. Geez. 🤣 I could say the sky is blue, and you'd be like..."Is it though?"1 point

South received some good news and bad news. South DB Drew Crum-Hieftje is done for the season and his high school football career is over with due to the broken arm. Coach Johnson had hoped it would be something they could cast and have him play, but it was not to be. Surprisingly, at least to me, South kicker Bryce Taylor is expected to play. I thought his season was over with considering the broken collar bone, but evidently it wasn't as serious as I thought. He's been a big weapon for South with his strong leg.1 point

That has been my point all along, the administration is the true problem at North Side. If administration is on board with poor coaching, lack of discipline, and treating others with total disrespect, nothing will change at North Side.1 point

I think you have overstepped here sir. If you've never spoken with him or talked football with him, you need to keep your mouth shut. You have no idea what you're talking about. You can think what you want, but for what he has done for the Sheridan community and school system deserves some respect. Uncalled for, totally uncalled for.1 point

You must not be watching much Sheridan football then... and it's mostly the defensive coach, defensive scheme is so poor and no adjustments ever made. If you think running the same play on offense 3-4 times in a row consistently is good coaching, then I'm not sure what to tell you. Outcoached at Eastern this year and last week at MC... If you want details, I am happy to provide them, if you know football it's all very obvious. I respect Bud a lot for his outstanding record and place in History but that does not mean he has an advanced football mind; it simply is not the case if you watch in person. I think when you coach for 60 years in 1A football there are going to be some good players/teams in that stretch... blind squirrel or broken clock references come to mind. He should be praised for his longevity and giving that town some great years to be proud of, but can we stop with the ridiculous "Blasphemy" claims acting like the man is a god or untouchable to criticism. We should be able to speak the truth here and call a Spade a Spade.1 point

Unaware that Stallions was recording or unaware that he was on the sideline of the CMU/Michigan State game? Personally, i'm no Michigan apologist, but I think it's worth noting that Stallions was somewhat of a psycho who wrote a 600 page manifesto about becoming the head man of the Michigan program. I don think it's out of the question to think he went above and beyond in a rogue way to handle the deliverables assigned to him. Personally, this whole story seems "meh" to me and I have skin in the game that possibly favors the Bears if this pushes Harbaugh to the NFL. Any game we watch on a Saturday afternoon has teams with elaborate communication signs on the sidelines. Multiple sign signalers, poster boards, etc. They're not alll doing it because of Michigan. At this point I'm more intersted in knowing how much of an advantage a team actually gets from uncoding a teams signs. At the end of the day players still have to execute.1 point

Two years ago there was a situation with two key players for NW who were suspended for the opening Sectional game vs Northridge due to an incident. This incident happened the day before the game, but was brought to the staff the day of the game. So to answer your question, yes, I’m sure NW would’ve acted in similar fashion. As for the Northridge incident, it was ultimately the school’s choice to suspend the kids for a game I believe. If it happened off school property and during the summer, couldn’t they let it slide? Every situation is unique, but sooner or later there has to be a timeframe where “the past is the past”. It may be subjective and not clear-cut, I understand that. The caption and picture seem obvious, but how is someone going to prove he was high? There would need to be a video showing the action of smoking IMO or do a drug test.1 point
-
So, what is worst? Holding on to the video on the chance you’d see Northridge in the playoffs … and then using it to knock their QB out of the game. Having advance scouts video future opponents’ sideline signals. Having private investigators accumulate evidence — some of it arguably obtained illegally — and then turning it into the NCAA to get your rival sanctioned for cheating. Who knew that football could create such moral dilemmas?1 point
-
For the record there’s a lot of accusations being thrown around here without any evidence. There’s no evidence that Northwood did anything. I did say it’s likely it’s someone in the orbit of Northwood. But there’s posts here suggesting the Northwood staff was holding onto it when I haven’t seen any evidence of such. If people want to criticize Northwood’s use of transfers that’s one thing, do that. But beyond that is assuming at best.1 point

Stinky, Stink, Stink 1.2..3... It's been a few years since Cutler High has been this deep! Coming to Bulldog land from way down South Coffin K9 will be more than happy to let you tailgate with him while slamming Bulldog BL's down! Not so fast my Coffin K9 friend, Cutler High will have some players who will put the Bulldogs in their pin. Casketnation better grind and dine, cause empty trips and getting shut out in the second half will have them way behind! Stink will be cheering for the EIAC Dogs to win, but he also won't be surprised if Cutler High walks out with a win! Tiger & Bulldog BL's FOREVER - Kentucky Bourbon NEVER!!!1 point

We may stink at football but I’d argue we’re more passionate about our teams than the fans of teams from other conferences that you only see on this site because they’re winning. Maybe I’m biased though.1 point

First, everyone overestimated the talent at North Side. Tae is ok, but not someone I would want on my team. Not going into that further here. Second, this is a very poorly coached team. No discipline, coaches acting they are teenagers, hell, the coaches are like a pep team with their hype crap going on. Be an adult!! Last, have freaking respect for the game, your opponent, each other, and the officials. Just a complete embarrassment…1 point

Yeah, as impressive and disciplined as EC was last year, it would appear they’ve only gotten better. I said all along that I have a hard time imagining anybody else in 4A beating them. But, let’s lace ‘em up.1 point

But, but, I've been told in other threads that by November natural grass fields in Indiana are all fetid swamps, not worthy to step on, much less play a football game on.0 points
