  1. This is the longest psychoanalysis over a three-letter word response in the history of the GID. I don't care that people know I'm Jon Easter, but, since you want to call everyone by their real names, who are you?

  6. Since it will more than likely decide the PAC (BIG side) conference champs I thought I'd throw it up for any interesting discussion. If nothing else so the Memorial folks can berate us both. Should be a great atmosphere, it would be sweet if the Jungle was as packed as last November. HH vs GIBSON SOUTHERN Friday, September 27th 7:00 pm CDT Kickoff @ Heritage Hills - The Jungle History Of The Matchup Gibson Southern (4-1) @ Heritage Hills (4-1) Heritage Hills - The Jungle - Lincoln City, IN Friday, September 27, 2024 7:00 pm CDT Kickoff This is the 52nd meeting between Heritage Hills and Gibson Southern. Heritage Hills leads the overall series 34-17 after a 23-20 semi-state victory over the Titans last November. Our Patriots are averaging 35.8 ppg on offense, while holding opponents to 11.2 ppg. The Titans are averaging 37.4 ppg, while allowing 16.6 ppg. The Patriots also faced three teams that consolidated into Gibson Southern High School in the 1972 and 1973 seasons. Heritage Hills went 0-2 vs Fort Branch, 1-1 vs Haubstadt and 2-0 vs Owensville. In the first season of Patriot Football, the Patriots went 9-1 and their only loss was to Fort Branch (15-12). The Titans won the first three meetings in the series by beating Roger Snow’s Patriots in 1974, 1975 and 1976. The Patriots didn’t beat the Titans for the first time until 1977, which was the year Bob Ashworth became the Patriots Head Coach. The 1977 season was Bob Clayton's only season as Offensive Coordinator at Heritage Hills before he stepped into the Head Coach role. The following season Ashworth moved onto Evansville Reitz and Clayton took over the Heritage Hills program. The Titans have won 13 of the last 20 meetings starting with a win in 2010 that snapped the Patriots streak of 21 straight wins over the Titans. Heritage Hills and Gibson Southern have played 5 overtime games in the series including a 7-0 five overtime affair in 1982. WE NEED YOU this Friday LOUD & PROUD! BRING THE 12th MAN! 8. BNL (0-5, 0-3 HHC) at Jennings County (0-5, 0-2 HHC) I like BNL to get their first win here. They're down this year but not as down as JC. Columbus East (3-2, 3-0 HHC) at Floyd Central (3-1, 2-0 HHC) Tough game. East is better than the past 2 years. Probably a matchup of the two best QBs in the conference. I'll take my Highlanders since the game is at home and Sebastian Robertson is running the heck out of the ball. New Albany (3-2) at 5A #7 Bloomington North (4-1) NA is dealing with some injuries and B-North is a solid team. Give me North. Seymour (2-3) at 2A #2 Brownstown Central (5-0) Brownstown is a well oiled machine. Reed May built another bully. Give me the Braves. Silver Creek (3-2) at Jeffersonville (3-2) Similar teams but Jeffersonville has more athleticism. Jeffersonville is better than they showed last week, they just got unlucky with a couple of onside kicks that went against them. Give me Jeffersonville.

  10. Chill out there mom's spaghetti. I think the run for third place is something to keep an eye on. I think RP, Seeger, Covington and FC are still are playing for something and can keep things interesting

  11. Coach Brunson was pretty tight-lipped. He didn't say either player would or would not be playing. It doesn't look good at this point.

  12. Bengals Defense also lost to the hapless Pats offense That's why I have long said, NFL is 17 independent events. Anything that happened last week has zero impact on this week. Parity and skill across the league is apparent. so comes down to player availability, scheme vs scheme, COACHING and Execution

  13. Right now the difference between Sagarin and Calpreps is negligible. One takes out of state opponents into consideration the other doesn’t. Outside of the top 2 (Brownsburg and Westfield) it is a crap shoot on ranking the rest. You can pretty much toss the teams in a hat and pull them out and be somewhat accurate. i would say it is interesting beyond 2 because of matchups (strengths and weaknesses of teams).

  14. Only on days when I need a good laugh. Most days are quite peaceful without your bloviations. Sometimes those little ankle biters can be funny. My contributions to the Forum haven't changed in 14 years. I don't intend to change now just because some little short guy has an issue with me. Stop blaming others for your own inability to contribute financially.

  15. A note for Tiger fans, although this is a home game for Memorial, we will be sitting on the visitor's side (where our team sideline will be).

  16. I'm just not sure what to say. Last year regular season GS beat us by 3, semi-state we won by 3. I got nothing.

  17. How about 3A Mississinewa outscoring opponents 208-0 so far this season to remain the only high school in the nation that hasn't allowed a single point to be scored.

  20. Washington Commander's wide receiver Terry McLaurin, is a real baller! Just watching him tonight makes me proud that I had a chance to see the same kind of performance 3 years at Cathedral! And, of course, the Colts could have drafted him, but they preferred Perris Campbell.

  21. Elkhart being ranked is ridiculous. They haven't beaten anybody to warrant a ranking. Also, Fishers should be ranked ahead of HSE.

  22. New Pal-Pendleton was a competitive game for most of the night ... 28-10 at halftime, PH nearly ran the second half kickoff back for a TD that would've made it 28-17. Instead, the teams traded TDs before a New Pal TD drive, a blocked punt, another TD and suddenly it was 49-17 in a blink of an eye. Didn't get to running clock until about four minutes left.
