Penn coaches allowed the team to score 62 against Washington. WOW. Normally Penn calls the dogs off and starts asking the refs to throw flags if we score. Avon is a dang good 2 loss team nail biter against HSE and then a shoot out vs Brownsburg. They appear to be better than years prior.2 points

After a very long night (it's not after 4:00 a.m.) We are back. More to do, but we are functional, enjoy. More from me after I get some sleep. ...g'night, DK1 point

Injured player was able to give a thumbs up as he was taken from the field. Great sign! Irish down 28-24 at halftime! Lots to get straightened out at halftime by the Irish coaches.1 point

Two very evenly matched teams last night. Valpo had the ball, 1st & goal at the 6 with 2:00, down 27-21. But then they went backward.1 point

Exactly the reason they showed yesterday. There defense and offense is better. The only thing valpo has on city is coaching. Everything else goes city’s way yearly Merrillville @ city next week could Be a good one. I’ll be at valpo Chesterton1 point

will be interesting Sunday...can Daniel Jones remain consistent. Much tougher defense with Denver. But the Broncos had to work hard to overcome a Titans team last week at home. Definitely a winnable game. Go Colts! BTW, Tyler Warren is a beast....thank you Bears!!!!1 point

Now that Vincennes is leaving can we please go back to 7 PM start time for games involving everyone but Jasper? Then when anyone plays Jasper it’s the 6:30/7:30 start time.1 point

Yeah after giving up 3 touchdowns to portage merrillville should definitely move up 🙄1 point

Scrolling through harrells and being a more southern IN guy thought I'd give a couple shout outs to team who may not have been noticed yet. 1. Switzerland County Pacers. 4-0 for just 2nd time in school history and last night got first ever win against Milan. The school record is 6 wins but could see 8-1 season. Hugh test against North Decatur next week. Common for both is Milan both had similar scores. 2. Crawford County Wolfpack. 3-1 and lone loss is to above Pacers. Got first conference win in 10(!) Years and first ever win against Perry Central. Program started in 07 and this is only 2nd time they have seen 3 wins with school record being 4 in 2008. They have a decent chance to break that and maybe see schools first ever winning record. 3. Edgewood Mustangs. 4-0 and a win over what was 1A #1 South Putnam. Already the most wins since 2019 (8) which was also last time they beat Putnam. They won total of 4 games last 2 years. Probably more out there but find these stood out. Especially CC who is my conference. Good on these 3 teams and coaches getting a heck of a start on the season1 point

I was very surprised by the Bull Dogs/Roncalli score of 41-20, Royals. I expected the opposite of that score. I haven't seen details of the game so far.1 point

I can’t remember ever seeing a comeback like that - 14 down with just over a minute to go? Did Tyrese Haliburton suit up for the Tigers?1 point

Dude, I said Carroll is not all that. Neither is Dwenger. I think this might go down as one of the worst years of SAC football, certainly in the last 25 years1 point

Donation has been submitted through PayPal. A little more than the $40 asked but Mrs ArmyVet80 and I just got home from Scotland and haven't completed our budget for the rest of 2025 yet. 🤣1 point

Nothing against them, but they are an average 5a team while Valparaiso has seen consistent success over the past 6-8 seasons. When I don't know a ton about either team and can only look at the scores, I'll pick the team who's program is significantly better1 point

To be honest, I don’t pay that much attention to the players. I’m there to observe and evaluate the officials.1 point

Doyel: IU vs Indiana State on same night as biggest high school game in Bloomington? Boo, Big Ten!: https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/columnists/gregg-doyel/2025/09/12/indiana-football-game-high-school-season-bloomington-north-south-big-ten/86115059007/ "Big Time" college football is on a collision course to financial disaster. Like Mr. Doyel has said their trajectory is not sustainable. And it's the HS programs like Bloomington North and South who suffer because of their greed.1 point

They are pretenders...and honestly, the way they have been playing recently is what I expected before the season began. I looked this up recently, and they are sub .500 against teams with winning records at 32-34. As for teams currently in playoff spots, in both the AL and NL, they are 21-24. Against NL teams in playoff spots, they are 14-14.1 point
