Former Warsaw Tiger Harrison Mevis hits a 61-yarder at the buzzer to walk off an upset win for Mizzou. Sets an SEC record for longest FG in conference history.
What a stupid comment to make without the information. Has nothing to do with his ligament. Small fracture at the head of the elbow. He’s not ruled out for the season and is 110% committed to getting back by seasons end and playing next season.
Looking at the Purdue game right now...
The field at Ross-Ade is immaculate! There ain't a HS field in this state that even could could compare.
So let's just quit it with the "anti" fake grass stuff.

They didn't give a reason, but I suspect one of the teams may have had problems fielding a JV team because of injuries, and maybe it just one position that has been hit hard by injuries. You don't hear much about things like this unless you are close to someone on the team whether it's players or staff and their families. However, that doesn't explain the move to Monday for the freshman game.
Well, OK. I was just passing along what I was told by somebody in the program. It’s entirely possible what I was told was wrong.
So, thanks for clearing it up.
Facebook and Twitter (won't refer to it by the stupid new name) are where the idiots go to play. No 4A defense will be capable of stopping East Central in perfect weather (LOS). The North's only chance, IMO, is if someone like New Haven makes it and Mylan Graham has a field day, which he is easily capable of after watching him play. Still, complete long shot though.
Ben Davis still beat Moeller by two touchdowns and was pretty competitive against one of the top teams in the nation. Maybe the Giants weren't ready for the truck that was about to hit them last night? I think too many people were looking at Warren Central as a team that had two losses and forgetting that they are big, athletic, and getting better as the season moves along. The Giants are legitimate Top 3 in my opinion.
I've been saying this about Carmel for years. They should be Top 3 every year and occupy 40 percent of the large division state titles.
Not sure, Homestead has been all over the place, losing 42-0 to Noblesville and playing Carmel to the wire 14-7. They got hammered by Carroll and they play Snider next week so we shall see. Make no mistake, Dwenger is a mess right now and the natives are very restless…
Not really anything competitive it sounds like tonight. For the most part that’s not too surprising. However, what happened down in Warsaw was. And I know it’s high school football being played by kids so I’ll restrain my thoughts. That said, I could see that happening if you waltzed in there undefeated thinking your stuff don’t stink and you get popped in the mouth. But this was after a loss. I was looking forward to seeing how this team responded to as and I got my answer…they didn’t. After a loss we came out and committed 5 turnovers, nearly had the Warsaw single game rushing record set, gave up a TD in 17 seconds to end the half against a running team on a reverse! And gave up 45 points to a team that scored 35 points in 3 games combined and only 41 to Plymouth…they scored more than they did against the freakin Rockies! We’ve been outscored 59-21 in the last 5 quarters and committed 8 turnovers in 6 quarters! This team is completely lost and if nothing changes will beat the cellar teams of the conference and that’s it. Rant over.
I'm not sure if ND's independence has much bearing. If they were to join a conference, they would probably not have a stranglehold on it. Big Ten? Nope. SEC? No way in hell. ACC? Most doubtful, as they are very top-heavy with Clemson, Florida State, Miami, and North Carolina with others such as Virginia Tech and Wake Forest showing flashes of brilliance. Possibly the Big 12, but I'm rather doubtful with their new lineup, especially BYU and Utah.
Them Mormons are mean.
