If you'll notice, their update is using the exact same wording. They posted their update using the exact same post that I shared, but sure, keep doubling down that I did something wrong. Sheridan Schools also just posted THE EXACT SAME THING 22 minutes ago.

If you are talking about the rumor that I am going to get fired, it is false. TH has my back and is willing to ride this wave all the way to the beach. The Pirates will rise again, and faith with be restored in Tree Town (I don't know why that's even a thing, it seems dumb to me). But, in the meantime, I need some volunteers. We are a little short handed in Hondaburg and I am looking for anyone, and I mean anyone willing to join the prep team. Last week we had to suit up some assistant coaches for prep team and that is not going to work for the rest of the year. I can offer free tickets to our games, but that probably isn't worth much. I'm surprised he hasn't been back. He wasn't here when I joined in 2010, he came in several years later, left once, came back and left again after his failed coup. As far as I know, Muda has been here since the site was founded. He's an icon. I would hate to see him leave. We don't agree on much, but I enjoy him being here.

Serious question: How can the Bears become perennial contenders/winners like the Packers are? What is different, owner and organization wise, that has made Green Bay the premier NFL team in the upper Midwest?

I get it, I really do....We all know that the 3 loss HCC team is better....maybe it is hard to justify 1-3 over 3-1, but if that 1-3 team ends up 5-3 and Elkhart ends up 7-2 I am going to rank that 5-3 team ahead of Elkhart.

Jeffersonville (3-1, 2-0 HHC) at Floyd Central (2-1, 1-0 HHC) Im taking FC since it's at home. Dont get me wrong. I'm more nervous about this game then I was weeks ago. Seymour (1-3, 0-3 HHC) at BNL (0-4, 0-2 HHC) Seymour. They aren't bad. They just lack experience. Jennings County (0-4) at Madison (2-2) Madison. They are better than they usually are.

Here is how I would rank them: 1. Snider 2 Mishawaka - Gave Snider the best game by far all tournament 3. Valparaiso - They would have given Snider a better game than Merrillville without question. I remember watching the Valpo/Merrillville and hoping Merrillville would win as had Valpo won the Snider game would have been at Valpo and they had a better offense than Merrillville. I knew Snider would beat Merrillville easily, just a bad matchup for Merrillville 4. Merrillville - I base this on if they played Decatur Central they would have beaten them handily 5. Decatur Central - Took advantage of a weak South to their credit

The high school districting lines have not been substantially changed since 1997 when Jackson Creek was built. The last change at all was in 2005, so if you think that has helped North in the past few years specifically you'd be wrong. Over the last 4 years alone, South has poached 5 players from the North district who went on to play division 1 football, leading to their continued dominance during that period. Had those players stayed where they were supposed to be, North would have been an extremely talented 5A team and South would have been a shell of what they've been. Even this year, there are 2 players on the North team who are transfers from South and only 1 of them even gets significant playing time. Saying that BHSN uses transfers from South to its advantage is the most hypocritical thing I have ever heard in my time as a North fan. If you're going to make excuses, at least use good reasoning. You can find South's stats for the first three games on MaxPreps but I don't expect the stats from the North game being put in for some time since there's such a sharp decrease everywhere except for turnovers.

His methodology doesn't make any more sense today than it did 15 years ago. LCC plays Benton Central in a few weeks, and will soon be a multi-week offender. Seeger is already a muti-week offender and LCC doesn't want Seeger to get too far in front of them. 🙂

I'll kindly pass, not worth the time. I just know that a team was up this past weekend 35-0 and lost. Gotta go for the jugular. As a coach, I'm running the score up to 49-0 in the first half. If I have an opportunity to score again before halftime, I'm taking a knee, the game is over. If I'm up 35-0 in the second half, I'm letting the 2nd string run down the clock.
