Indiana 47 -Michigan State 10, Hoosiers trail for the first time all year at 10-0 then outscore the Spartans 47-0. Just wow!!! Rourk was unbelievable again, the running attack was great, and the defense just clamped down after being down 10-0 and causing 8 straight 3 and outs over the last 3 quarters. Great win!!!2 points

Hoosiers dominated from the 2nd quarter on. I was worried that Rourke may have come back too soon, but got hot as the game progressed. First time ever for IU to be 9-02 points

I get what you're saying. Kind of of impossible to sugar coat it. Neither QB was was capable of throwing the ball last night. I thought Sndier handled the situation better in the 2nd half by dialing up what appeared to be a few simple single read plays that fooled the Elkhart D. To cue Denny Green, Elkhart was who we thought they are. They have a huge, athletic and talented DL and that's about it. A majority of their passing yards came on poorly thrown jump balls. I don't get why they continued to try forcing the ball downfield in the passing game. Especially when the QB kept going Will Levis and not just taking a sack when nothing is there. Elkhart was very lucky the 2nd INT wasn't a pick 6 as well. That ball can't be thrown.2 points

I'm convinced Elkhart is a Top 25 team after seeing them in person. I'd bet their defense alone is Top 5. Having seen both teams, I'd give Warren Central a slight nod over Elkhart.2 points
-
it was chippy, but when your team has 3-4 15 yd face mask penalties, 3-4 unsportsmanlike conduct penalties and a player ejected it takes courage to call anything associated with the other team trashy and embarrassing.2 points

I don’t believe for a second that Carrol’s defense is head and shoulders better than Elkhart.2 points

Zioinsvillle scores a TD on the last play of regulation to pull wiithini 28-27. Eugine Hilton, TY's son, from the wildcat formation, runs in the two point conversion. Zionsville goes to Westfield, Carmel goes home 29-28.2 points

Adam Berry is the best coach in west central Indiana. The guy is more than just “the dude who lucked into Jack Kiser.” Dude knows ball.1 point

In my almost 70 years of watching high school football in Indiana, I cannot remember ever seeing a penalty called after a game had "ended."1 point

Athletes are great if they are in a system where they can thrive, but if they are just out there, they have little significance. North Side is exhibit A of this. To a lesser extent, Wayne is exhibit B.1 point

I would like to say yes, but would have to say doubtful. After staying healthy thru week 7, injuries to FC's key skilled players seem to be piling up. Plus, the best-in-the-biz CG staff essentially gets 3 weeks to prepare for either FC or CN while the FC staff starts working on CG gameplan now.1 point

Oh, I agree that Elkhart had a lot of athletes and the WR's were winning the jump balls like you said. They just didn't have the passing ability to run the offense they tried throwing at Snider, IMO.1 point

#4 Noah Wright is the most slippery skill kid I have seen play this season....that includes Goldsberry, if he didn't play list night you guys really missed out on seeing a special player. HUGE difference maker.1 point

I mean, as it always does it comes down to schedule strength. I think Warren is a clear #1 end could be convinced Elkhart is top 5. This is all on paper obviously because I’ve never seen Elkhart play.1 point
-
Eastern a team that lost to Carroll by 2 touchdowns beat Rochester who doesn't play that bad of a schedule. I'm just guessing but maybe Carroll is a good team but not as good as their rankings showed and Pioneer has simply got better as the season went along and maybe Carroll having the success they've had in the past couple seasons could have came in over confident and were caught off guard on how good Pioneer is and before you knew it.. it was 22-0. No but Micah Rans did his best impersonation.1 point
-
Don’t agree but that is fine. Snider move the ball much better against Elkhart than they did Warren or Carroll. Elkhart played 2 good teams all year until last night in Penn and Concord, rest were not good. Imagine Snider or Carroll or Warren playing Elkhart’s schedule, the defensive numbers for those teams would be insane1 point
-
Slight nod to Warren??!! Cmon man!!! Warren, Snider, and Carroll all have better defenses than Elkhart, no disrespect to Elkhart. The defensive line for Elkhart is really good, the rest of the defense not so much1 point
-
I am all about having a balanced offense, but not this year. Snider is just not capable of throwing the football. Read into that what you want. I am trying to be respectful towards the players, but if you can see you know what I am saying. Only chance Snider has against Carroll is a 10-7 type of game, maybe get a defensive touchdown.1 point

Let’s see if we can’t wrap this up. The assumption is that the facemask foul by A took place behind the spot where the ball became dead when the runner went out of bounds. First, we address the live ball foul. Go back to the spot of the facemask foul, and go back 15 yds. assuming it was a personal foul and not a 5 yd. facemask. Second, now that we’ve enforced the penalty for the live ball foul, we look at the chains. If the ball is beyond the line to gain, it’s a 1st down. If the ball is not beyond the LTG, then the down counts. Finally, we address the dead ball foul. It’s 15 yds. against Team B, enforced from the spot after the live ball foul’s enforcement. If that takes the ball beyond the LTG, then it’s a 1st & 10 for Team A there. If it’s not beyond the LTG, play the next down. Regardless, the clock will start on the snap.1 point

What the hell happened in the Pioneer vs Carroll game? Did Jack Kiser play?1 point
-
I hadn't said anything publicly all season, because, with my ties to Sheridan, it would have been assumed that I was just being biased, but I felt like Carroll was kind of a fraud most of the year. I did NOT, however, expect them to get the beatdown that they received tonight.1 point
-
I don’t think most people would agree with you. I will say this. As a quiet observer at the game I was amazed at some of the cheap shots the FC players were giving. I was surprised only one FC player got ejected. But then I observed many of the FC parents in the stands yelling the F word towards the Castle side and asking them to come fight (both sides sit in the home bleachers there) and I realized why some of the players were that way. Quite embarrassing really. why are there not bleachers on the visitor side?1 point
-
They had 2 timeouts but your point is still valid. They take 3 knees and the game is over.1 point
-
These would only offset if they were both dead ball fouls. The ball would next be snapped at the succeeding spot (end of the run).1 point

I thought that the facemask should have been marked off from the spot of the penalty and then the late hit out of bounds be marked off. The run was around a 50 yard run from the original line of scrimmage. The facemask was down field maybe 10-15 yards from the line of scrimmage. The final spotting of the ball where the RB went out of bounds is what is strange. Mississinewa ended up scoring a few plays after this.1 point

The 4th Q turnovers hurt. 28-25 brownstown runs kick back, paoli throws pick. 2 plays later brownstown scores made it 42-25 in blink of an eye. Fumble on next drive and brownstown scores again. 48-25 final. Was a great game to watch. Lots of 4th down conversions by both teams. Paoli loses 13 seniors.1 point

I also showed my face to those coaches. You won't show your face to anyone on here.1 point

This whole thing is funny. Danville couldn't stop a last second touchdown at the end of regulation and even the ensuing 2pt play. To even make the claim that the officials lost the game for them is not what they should be worried about. They should be worried about their end of game coaching and playing. It is the typical sour grapes approach that we see all too often anymore. I'm sorry it happened the way that it did but they did it to themselves.1 point

Penn admin needs to see this info and be ashamed of it. THERE IS NO REASON a 6A blue blood should be playing such a crap schedule and be 7-2....two losses to local teams....it makes me want to throw up. (I know you have similar thoughts, just venting into the void)1 point
-
Low scoring game. I'll roll with Snider 17-10. It's no secret both teams are known for their defenses. The difference for me is that Snider is more battle tested. Maybe this is a homer prediction.1 point

If there are any Castle fans on here, you guys are the trashiest fanbase I've seen in 30 years of watching sports. Just an utter embarrassment. Your radio guys are even worse. Go Huskies.0 points
