  3. Was a bad time for everyone. I was in Harrisburg, PA on that day, just arrived at America's Largest RV Show dealer days that Tuesday morning early enough to get the doors open on the units before dealers would be showing up at 9:00 am. My cell phone rang just before 9:00, the tone in my wife's voice was alarming as she told me what she was witnessing on TV. Got the TV's in the units fired up and all day long we watched the news....... I share a special bond with the people I was with that day since none of us were with our families, and most of us who had rental cars had to act as buses to get friends back to Indiana after the show that week since all the flights were cancelled........Stunned was the word of the day.......

  4. Warsaw with a really good close win over an always tough Mishawaka team last night. Concord leading Wawasee by 2 scores when the transformer caught on fire. Game will be resumed today, but unless something drastically changes, I look for Concord to pull out a win over a decent Wawasee team. Northridge became the first Elkhart County team to shut out their first 3 opponents since Jimtown in 2012 (per Chuck Freeby). Northridge has outscored their opponents 106 to 0 this season. Next week should be a great game at Interra Field when Warsaw comes to town.

  5. Good catch. I guess it would be 3 since there wouldn't be an extra point.

  7. When I was coaching Seymour’s athletic department had some stationary that used Rice’s logo and they received a cease and desist order. Warren Central has used the same W as Wisconsin as have several others.

  9. I agree that in the past Linton has been very successful in keeping a featured running back under control. They took special pride in that but this Miner defense may not be up to the task. They'll certainly be challenged by the coaches this week. Hopefully, Linton's usual multi-back rushing attack can keep us in the game.

  10. They’re going to get a chance to make a statement this Friday. I don’t care how down Penn is this year. They’re still Penn.

  11. plagiarized from a friend's post.... “How would you feel?" “Imagine there is a man who, for the last five years, has assaulted you, on average, two times a year. He has raped you in the past. Then, he shows up at your house at 4:00 in the morning. You wake up to find him standing above you, you have your child in bed with you. He has his 'junk' out and then he sexually assaults you. He leaves the room, you quiet your child and go into the living room. He is gone. You look out the window and your car is gone. You check your purse, your keys and ATM card are gone. You call the cops. Cops show up. As you cry, you describe the sexual assault. The cops tell you this man has withdrawn money from your bank account twice in the last several minutes. Okay, are you 'imagining' all that? Well, then imagine this. The guy who sexually assaulted you has received over TWO MILLION from a 'GoFundMe' account. NFL players, such as Drew Brees, have your rapist's name on his helmet. MLB baseball players walk off the field to support your rapist. EVERY THING I JUST TYPED IS FACT! It comes from the police report on the Jacob Blake incident. Not shit, we have professional sports figures celebrating a friggin' rapist! The Left loves the guy! You can argue if the shooting was justified...but to celebrate a multiple time offending RAPIST is INSANE! But, this is where we are in 2020. VOTE BIDEN/HARRIS TO CELEBRATE RAPISTS!” Anybody else feel the surrealism taking place right now.......

  13. CIC is absolutely terrible this year outside of Eastbrook, and after watching them Friday night i am not really sure how good they are. Mississinewa has one guy to stop, if you can stop him you shut them down. I would never kick to him. 2nd place in the conference will be determined this Friday at Mississinewa. This conference does nothing to prepare anyone for the tournament. I am a CIC guy, just really disappointed by what i have seen so far this year.

  14. Mockobee put on 15LBs of Muscle during the off season and added almost 2"s to his vertical. He told me before the start of the season after the first day of contact that this year was going to be interesting because he felt that his off season changes were going to really show. Mockobee has AVGd 10ypc Sophomore and Junior seasons.

  22. https://spectator.org/americas-struggle-session-comes-to-college-football/ How embarrassing. Herbstreit could have defended college sports as a means for underprivileged young adults, disproportionately black of course, to escape those disadvantageous circumstances in crime-riddled neighborhoods and acquire the skills, athletic or otherwise, to turn professional in high-paying occupations. College sports is one of the best vehicles for bringing Americans of all colors and creeds together behind common purposes. He could have said that. He could have said if America was a little more like the example its college sports programs set on their best days, there wouldn’t be the need for riots in the streets. But he didn’t. Instead he made millions of Americans miserable with his emotionalist micturation all over our TV screens and turned an attempt at entertainment and escape into an involuntary pīpàn dòuzhēng for one of the last bastions of traditional America. Those millions will turn into hundreds of thousands. College football fans will head for fishing holes and hunting leases. College sports is, as Ben Domenech noted, a luxury item. Not a necessity. And the social-justice Left, which ruins everything it touches, has its hands on pro and college sports like Joe Biden on a twelve-year-old. All that’s left is to watch the stadiums empty and the advertisers drop out. Herbstreit killed college football on Saturday. Americans have no patience for struggle sessions. The Cultural Revolution is one thing Americans simply won’t buy from China. Yep. I watched that homily by Mr. Herbstreit and just shook my head. If this is the crap ESPN and the other broadcasters of college football are going to shove down their viewers throats then I'll have something better to do on a Saturday in Autumn. The woods are calling and I must go........................

  26. The U.S. has never "tried the her immunity thing". The "experts" and media said "the coronavirus was no threat to Americans" and downplayed the coronavirus until mid March. Herd immunity is why our plant has had no further spread of the coronavirus for the past 110 days despite 800-900 union workers who refuse to wear masks or social distance while working 10 hour shifts 6-7 days per week. Hundreds play cards in groups of four at picnic tables every day. No one is more than two feet away from the other three and no one is wearing a mask.
