Were there a couple of Top 20 schools within a mile or two of these that closed recently?  If not, then I'm not seeing how they end up Top 25 in the state.

Another example of why MaxPreps rankings are a joke. If every user on this site made a top 25 i don’t think there would be a single one worse than this. Besides maybe Piratefan.

I’m all for giving “the little guys” love and recognition but does anyone honestly believe that a 3A school such as Brebeuf or Gibson Southern could hang with BD?  Or a 4A school like East Central for that matter?

Come on.  Last year’s Warren team was average and rolled Chatard fairly comfortably.

And the LC love?  They’ll be better but did Will Patterson’s family compile this poll?

Preseason computer rankings are about as accurate as me throwing at a dartboard blindfolded (and I have terrible aim even when I can see the board).

Even if the ratings are a bit "premature", I still believe that the ratio of Indianapolis area schools to the rest of the state schools, is pretty much in proportion in all classes (maybe not 1A)
