Derrick Henry is in town for the Luers Knox game to see McLaughlin play for Knox. Someone in the Nosey Neighbors page for the area got a picture with him.2 points

I think if JT is going to get the MVP he has to break both of LT's records. I think the yards he will come somewhere close to 2,000, give or take a few. Can he get to I think it's 31 rushing TD's and 35 Total TD's or something like that by the end of the season? If he can get one or both of those, and doesn't win the MVP vote, then I think we really do have a problem on our hands as far as giving the award to QB's. The dude has more rushing TD's than more than half of the QB's in the league have passing touchdowns. What's crazy to me about his numbers is if you look at Daniel Jones' numbers, he is still above average if not better on all of his statistics. So it isn't like JT is just getting all the carries in the world. The dude is averaging 6 yards a carry in the NFL. That is a crazy stat to me. 6 yards a carry!!! Some kids in high school don't even average that on good teams. Just nuts. Shoutout to the offensive line play of the Colts as well. JT is good, but he will be the first to tell you he has some hawgs blocking for him up front, OL and TE's.2 points

Not a fan of teams needing 3 points to stay up. Should’ve stayed at 2 points.2 points

He was wearing a heavy knee brace before the game. Never looked like he had his feet underneath him on long passes. On his last play, he tried to cut and looked like he stretched it. I'm sure he'll be on the wrestling mat soon. One of the best Patriot football players ever.1 point

Roncalli - 42 Heritage Hills - 14 Final Fantastic season for the Patriots making it to the Semi-State in their first year of 4A! They’ve had a great group of players of the last 3 seasons. Good luck to the seniors for their future careers!1 point

The moral victory chorus has begun. “Westfield didn’t beat Carroll, Carroll beat Carroll.” Wash, rinse, repeat.1 point

Congrats to Brownstown on finally getting over the hump. 31-21. Some Hella ballsy calls in this game. Gonna be a tough one next week no matter what (andrean leads as of this posting). Hell of a program. I know Hutchinson gets alot of attention (and rightfully so) but #66 sure knows how to take advantage of all the 1 on 1s. 2 weeks in a row hes been awesome1 point

Brownstown take opening drive of 2nd half for the TD. 24-7 Brownstown. South Putnam answers Milan with a TD of their own. Lead 14-7 at half.1 point

Yes my statement didn't come out how I was trying to state it. I was trying to state overall team Brownsburg is better. By that I mean Warren Central has better talent at a couple of positions, but Brownsburg collectively has better talent at all other positions and the talent they have at DE and RB while not as high profile as WC they are still extremely good players and bridge the gap. Jobe, Lewis, and Sumpterbey are 3 excellent RB's that Brownsburg has to rotate through behid a big and very talented Offensive Line. Cole and Hall aren't as talented as Finch but are good enough to collectively mesh with the overall talent on defense for the Bulldogs. I agree with your statement mine just didn't come out how I intended.1 point

If you're a defensive minded guy, I would make the 8 minute ride. Lol if you're looking for some kind of offense/ touchdowns to be scored, then fill up that tank!1 point

Pioneer @ South Adams- There are a lot of factors going into tonight's game that point to a Star Fire victory. Home field, no long bus ride, used to playing on turf, an offensive style the Panthers haven't seen, multiple offensive threats and a very stout defense. It will take an all out near perfect game, but I like the Panthers in this one in an extremely close game. South Putnam @ Milan- I think that the Eagles cruise in this one early and maintain through the final horn. Milan has had a great season but South Putnam's schedule has prepped them for this moment.1 point

Nope. Close early, Westfield pulls away late. I have THREE whole points riding on this one. @HollywoodHustler @Rodney @TransplantedPanther Just a few more hours!1 point

The thinking is that they have to make some sacrifices next season in order to get exactly where they want to be in 2027 and onwards1 point

Pretty common when scheduling to tell everyone up front I need a home game in 26 or 27 or whatever. Football is CRITICAL to keep that 4/5 home game schedule from a monetary standpoint.1 point

Speedy secondary and D-line may serve them well, but will Pioneer have anyone to jump and compete for the football with #9 for SA? If not, it will still be a long night even with quality pressure and coverage. He is a special player and a hard matchup. I will take South Adams by 81 point

Before all of the advancements in technolgy and training... Equivalent of a sub 4.2 in today's world, no doubt.1 point

I was told by a coach on the team that they didn’t really have a choice. The teams they were getting to fill in their schedule were due for home games those weeks and they just had to go with it. As for the week 4 TBD game, that will remain an away game. They already have two options for that game and both would require Jennings County to go on the road. The interesting thing here is that they will be playing their rival, Madison, at home in back-to-back years. It worked out for both teams’ schedules (since Madison is joining the Mid-Southern Conference next year) that Madison would come to North Vernon again. Otherwise, Jennings County would’ve only had two home games.1 point

Then you "liked" the post I made over in 6A at 7:12pm on Tuesday. Noted. What about IU/Wisconsin to score over 44? Another bad idea? Pittsburgh to cover was stupid, I get that. Ball State to cover was just plain reckless. So yeah, recheck my post and do the opposite. You're welcome.1 point

I sucked too. Pretty rotten year for me this year. @boilerfan87 and @LC_Bears_04 have proven to be the gold standard. I’m just trying to keep up.1 point

I am making the drive and looking forward to a well-played, hard-fought game. No real expectations because of the way this year have gone and where things are now. Many expected Mishawaka and East Noble. Well, they get the 2 teams that beat both of them. The winner goes to Lucas oil.1 point

Always a debate of getting a bye (and resting) is worth the cobwebs that can form when not playing. Coach, I wonder if the NFL has data about the benefit of being top seeds and getting byes? Not saying that is an apple to apple comparison.1 point

I knew that post would bother you, you're way too predictable. Give me some substance other than "you're hilarious my man." I know what you're thinking, because again, you're predictable. You think I'm preparing myself to say on Saturday morning "the only reason Carroll lost is because it rained." I have no clue if Carroll would lose in the rain, I simply asked if Westfield is run or pass oriented. If they are run, then I'd have to say the rain would greatly favor them. Who in their right mind would claim that I'm wrong?1 point

Happy 58th birthday to the single greatest game-changer I ever saw in college football, “Rocket” Ismail. I will be eternally grateful that I got to see the expression on Bo Schembechler’s face when he ran that second kickoff back against Michigan in 1989. Wish I could find that on video.1 point

Yet everyone knows, with 100% certainty, that they are one of the best 12 teams in the country, probably Top 6. Probably the best team in the SEC if they were in the SEC. Is what it is. It's not "getting away with something." In past years, the media has been hard on the Irish. They know a good team when they see one. Can't wait for Freeman to hoist the trophy.1 point

I will take the ENTIRE day on Saturday, with COLD ones at my disposal.... Watching EVERY Semi-State game. November IHSAA FB is absolutely wonderful. IN is officially (IMO) a FB State!1 point
