Donnie, I think he is ganging up on both of us...You wear the Zubaz and we wear the visors. Plus, visors are the perfect combo...shade for my eyes, but allows the sun to glisten off of my flowing, golden locks!2 points

Anybody can have a bad game and lose. Heck, look no further than undefeated Reitz getting upset by Boonville last year. I think Memorial will have a tough time against Reitz, in conference and tournament. Losing starting QB and RB is tough to overcome. Maybe Jasper can challenge then in Sectional? EC is another animal though. Huge roster, lots of size and speed, likely Mr Football, defending state winner.2 points

Hey MuleDriver, I saw where they made the center for the Panthers the "offensive player of the week," and it the same player that was at center during the North game, so I guess they got the snap problem ironed out. I also saw that the freshmen won their game last night at THS, 22-0, and their record goes to 4-0-1.1 point

It's all good fun. If I see any of you in camo it's game on! That is where I draw the line.1 point

Agree on almost all of those MR. Baker but I believe the panthers are going to put Willy in his place this week.1 point

Hard to imagine the winner of this game NOT at least get a share of the conference title. But you are right, the NLC is far from being over with 4 teams that could all beat one another and a 5th that could pick someone off. The minute Curtis took the Warsaw job I knew he would get them to being a consistent winner. It's kind of interesting too look at the programs that he has left and where they are at now with New Prairie and Mishawaka. The guy doesn't just get buy in from players but he also gets it from the community and the community is what gets you stable programs. Truly one of the best out there1 point

Buffs in for a rude awakening this Saturday in Eugene...that pass D is abysmal. Can't get away with that with Bo Nix on the opposing sideline. Calling 7-5 for them, still a huge step forward but they won't see the top 25 again after this weekend.1 point

Yeah, 2 way playmaker who will be in the NFL. That late hit on Hunter was a blantant cheapshot. Not sure how the Colorado State player wasn't ejected. I would be shocked if Colorado can come out of Autzen with a W. Here's how I see the AP Top 25 matchups shaking out this week: Florida State over Clemson Oklahoma over Cincinnati Michigan curbstomps Rutgers Oregon easily takes down Colorado but the Buffs will put up a fight UConn hangs with Duke and the Blue Devils pull away in the 4th quarter Miami curbstomps Temple Ole Miss by about 10 in Tuscaloosa I'm going to go with UCLA pulling off the upset in Salt Lake City. I believe Utah still isn't at full strength and Chip gets a statement W LSU beat Arkansas by about 15 in Red Stick Florida crushes Charlotte Washington State narrowly edges Oregon State at home in the misfit bowl I think Penn State beats Iowa by about 17. I want to say by about 25 but I can envision Iowa burning clock running the ball on drives that end in 0 to 3 points. Freeman gets his marquee win in South Bend and the pressure begins to mount on Day Texas over Baylor Georgia will take out their post South Carolina frustrations on a USF team that Alabama should have manhandled North Carolina narrowly over Pitt Washington will cover the 21 point spread against Cal if Penix plays midway through the 2nd half Surprised to see Arizona State getting 33.5 against USC's defense. Williams and Co. will score at will. USC's D better be able to handle ASU's offense.1 point

Caston @ North White- Vikings- The comets are getting better, but they're not there yet. Culver @ Winamac- Warriors- In my opinion, this will be the only game that either of these teams can win this year. Knox @ LaVille- Knox Football Team- I think that Knox's offense will be too much for the Lancers. SCUM @ Judson- Jays- Coach Lambert will be getting the kids boosted back up this week after their lackluster performance against Winamac. Triton @ Pioneer- Panthers- I'm not sure that either team has been fully healthy all season. There's a good chance Toloza doesn't play this Friday, which certainly doesn't help Pioneer. This Panther team is much grittier than last year's team and I think that if they can contain Shively (easier said than done) they will win. In my opinion, Shively is the best or second best overall player in the conference right up there with Plummer between what they offer at QB, DB and Kicker.1 point

Here you go: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1O6J1oaoKWSgPWgPhsL7-eng1-_vqyqEr&usp=sharing Just click on the class(es) on the left and it will mark the location of the schools on the map as well as the names of the schools. You'll also notice, when you observe the map, schools that are in the same sectional are coded with the same color. This was accurate as of 2022, but I don't know if it has been updated to include some of the newer schools in 1A ... in part because some aren't yet eligible for post-season.1 point

I’m confident Dashawn Woods their RB will go D-1 His brother did last year too ( Eastern Illnois) Many had HC winning and now want to discount it, I get it. Good for the young Panthers to see that level of athleticism. 1A just doesn’t have that level of player.1 point

We were untouchable. 15-0, 13-1, 13-1, 13-1, unbeaten freshman year, unbeaten in two JV years Wishbone down your throats and a very heavy 5-2 defense that bent but rarely broke. F Chatard. /glory days signing off1 point

On this particular play, to make a correct ruling, you'd have to be in the postion this particular linesman was in. Straddling the gloal linewith a clear view of the action. Judging from your comments about the crew, I would have to trust the ruling on the field. There is honestly no way to think otherwise unless we had a camera in the pylon. It is an interesting play to discuss.1 point

Former Warsaw Tiger Harrison Mevis hits a 61-yarder at the buzzer to walk off an upset win for Mizzou. Sets an SEC record for longest FG in conference history.1 point

Its crazy. The IHSAA's starting point should always be a presumption in favor of the student having eligibility and forcing the objecting to school to overcome the presumption, but it seems they take the opposite approach. Worse yet, it is well-documented that the IHSAA administrators (ie. Paul Neidig) frequently engage in bullying tactics toward the student and parents in the appeal hearings. And by prohibiting an attorney for the student being present in the hearings, the IHSAA gets away with it.1 point

My 7 main conclusions with this thread..... Let the kid transfer for his senior season and move on. Do the right thing IHSAA! The title of this thread is one of the best in quite some time. Well done Muda! Grover only made the comment about Lea Thompson given his marching band resume. Coach Nickerson failed Salvucci...no sugar coating that fact. Doyel is still a putz! Nickerson's play call one of the worst in history that directly led to Ampipe's loss at Walnut Heights. Steph called him out for it and it cost him his senior season. I do have to give him some credit for the 6-2 stack defense. Brian should have taken the scholly to USC. Married student housing buddy!!1 point
