So who really cares then? You think you're going to change the mind of a proud Snider program and their contingent of fans? No one really cares what some guy on the gridiron says, lol. These kids are celebrating a state championship tonight. I doubt any thought of where they rank statewide is even crossing their mind. They did something big tonight. You do nothing but type behind your keyboard insulting them. Your list of life accomplishments is probably pretty small, if anything at all.

One thing we knew for sure was that this Snider team was coming into this season with a chip on their shoulder. The end of 2022 was arguably the most devastating loss in Snider history.

Sorry, yours takes the cake. No matter how good Snider looked, some dumbo is going to come on here and diminish what they did to keep the "5A is bad" narrative going. I was actually pretty impressed with Decatur Central. They just ran into, arguably, the best defense Snider's ever put on the field. The Panther's defense is good enough to keep them in any game against any team in the state. I'm not saying I'm prepared to rank them #1, but your comment about all those teams beating Snider by multiple scores really illuminates your low IQ of the game. Snider tricked the entire state of Indiana into thinking they were overrated after their one point win over Mishawaka. Snider nation knows what I'm talking about.

Snider makes for a solid top 10 team this year. for the record if it makes you feel better I put them at #6 While I think any one of HSE Westfield Chatard could beat them, Snider is just as likely to win that game.

If anything is gonna haunt Snider, it’s turning a 1st and Goal from the 1 and and 1st and Goal from the 4 into only 3 points

5A crew looks great through the 1st quarter. This is one of the very best crews in the state, and it shows.

Kyle Guy’s younger brother. Heritage Hills was all class during the game - extending hands to help opposing players up, never showing any frustration, etc. Impressive young men. A credit to themselves, their parents, their coaches….and their community. I just can’t imagine a team this well coached, young and loaded with talent not making another trip or two to LOS over these next couple of years.

It is an open and shut case. Cathedral takes the cake. I'll start the new topic on Sunday. You're still thinking in terms of overall talent level. That's why we have a class system. I don't think you can disqualify a program for having a small enrollment. A dynasty is a dynasty, no matter the level of play.

The only reason it is not used in the Finals is that, for TV scheduling reasons, they don’t want a game to end early. Has nothing to do with competitiveness.

I think it shouldn't happen in any game, it is an absolute travesty to end a game early because one team skipped tackling drills.

And I remember that when Chatard finally went to their “throwing qb” on the final drive they were able to move the ball down field enough to get a shot on the final play. As an outsider at that time, not living in Wa-Née I kept wondering why teams refused to try and throw against them. It was clear they were an A+ run defense. Also I saw recently that was Chatard’s only loss in 17 state appearances. I’ll say as far as EC they did score 38 on Moeller. I don’t see Northwood doing something even Moeller couldn’t do. Hope I’m wrong though.

We did something similar when basketball went to a Class tournament. Tournament of Champions! Sounded like a great way to appease the single class crowd. I think it lasted 3 years.
