Got it. So admitting defeat? Burden of proof is on you.
Perhaps, you are getting confused with the OOB forum?
Lol oh brother, so your stuff about the MIC never got political?

Go run on Rose Hulman's Football field, any turf field, and any high school that has Natural grass and let me know what difference you feel (I have done all of the above. The people who play the game at the highest level possible aren't playing on High School natural grass when they do play on Natural Grass. Rose Hulman happens to have NFL grass that was installed when the Colts used their facility for training camp.
Except they’ve done studies specifically focused on high school and found the exact same stuff:

You have Temp, you know it. I could name examples, but as much as I know you’d like to, I’m not really trying to argue about this right now.

I think it's funny that all of the people who play the game at the highest level possible are in near-unanimous agreement that grass is easier on the body, while a bunch of guys sitting on their couches watching them go "Nuh-uh you're wrong!"

Agreed on the matchups with the Catholic League Blue, DuPage Valley, West Suburan Silver and Southwest Suburban Blue . The problem with the Catholic League Blue though is they're notorious for backing out of home and home deals when it's their turn to travel. Loyola Academy did it to Cincinnati St. Xavier this year. But, the Catholic League Blue and some of the Western/SW Suburban teams are very good for the same reasons Cathedral and HCC teams are good. It's tough to schedule them though as they start a week later and a lot of the teams just schedule OOC against teams from other Chicagoland conferences.
I've often wondered how East St. Louis can be so good at HS football when the town itself is a disaster and looks like Gary with neighborhoods completely abandoned. But, I've noticed once their players hit colleget their hometown is typically listed as St. Louis. I think they even got into trouble recently with the amount of "recruits" they were bringing in from St. Louis.
I’ve heard the same thing. I believe Mt Carmel used to play Warren in the late 80s/early 90s. A guy can dream.
East St Louis recruits the entire city of St Louis. They’ve gotten in trouble a few times over the years for doing so.
I’m not sold on CP. Didn’t look good at all first half vs LC. If they beat up on Valpo like they’ve been doing everyone else then I’ll finally buy in. As of now I don’t think they’ll make it out of the Regional.
Don’t think we can glean anything from the Moeller matchups other than EC will not be touched in 4A this year.
I think this Top 25 is really accurate other than the Bloomington schools being on it. North beating South was more reflective of South being frauds than North actually being good. Think teams 19-25 all beat the Bloomington schools by 3+ TDs. Conference Indiana is not good.

I just don't know anything about Cristian Brothers or Detroit King. I do feel like Indiana has closed the gap with Ohio and has probably surpassed Michigan, Kentucky, and Illinois.
I don’t follow Michigan enough to speak on it, but I watched Mount Carmel and East St Louis play a couple weeks ago and I gotta say I’m not sure anyone in Indiana this year could beat either of them. Would love to see some MIC/HCC vs Catholic League Blue matchups in the near future.

Nah, I’m human. Look at my record picking games this week.
Anyone who brings attempts to bring politics into a high school football thread is a loser, that’s all I was saying.

I really would like to think that there aren’t actually any coaches who run up scores of high school football games for the sake of Sagarin ratings.
And if there are, I don’t think that doing so even makes their teams better. If you can score that easily on a team, you can probably get better reps against your own guys in practice.
Besides all that, I think there’s really an argument that being underrated in Sagarin might actually be an advantage, but that’s a whole different conversation.
Just get the running clock on and get out of there. -

Tell us more. If they “do it all the time” surely you have dozens of examples…
Here’s a link to a story from back in 2014 written by Neddenriep where multiple players are mentioned and the way in which the IHSAA handles transfers is questioned. The IndyStar has written about this quite a bit, especially Doyle in the past few years, and those articles have been discussed on this forum before. A quick google search of “ihsaa transfer indystar” will get you everything.
But anyway, this is probably the most disgusting story we’re heard yet in terms of IHSAA transfer horror stories. Many of the “adults” in this story should be downright ashamed of themselves.

East Noble over Snider by 7. This game eerily reminds me of 1993 when the Panthers played Homestead for the first time ever. They coasted into that game and wasn't ready for the truck that ran them over. This is their first meeting ever with East Noble. Snider's struggled against good passing teams in past. Upset special of the week.
No disrespect to the Knights, but picking them over Snider after what the Panthers did to Warren last week is pure lunacy.

Yes, no one is being forced to sign up for sports.
Those who choose to sign up are being forced to play on surfaces that are not optimal for safety in the name of saving money and expedience for administrators. Pretty shameful if you ask me.
