Sheridan at Clinton Central has been canceled.  Clinton Central going to virtual following a number of positive cases.

I'm hoping that Sheridan can find a replacement for Friday.

Love seeing this,  Coach Wright has always spoke fondly of his time with his Blackhawks in the Hoosier

Yessir. I miss the Sheridan-Hamilton Heights games. If you don’t get goosebumps when you see Coach Wright on the sideline, you’re not an Indiana High School football fan imo.

Penn at Cincinnati St. Xavier is cancelled on 9/11

According to the Harrell site,  Andrean is off that week, also.  That would be a good matchup.

So Ohio went to a 6 game regular football season and St X now has a local parochial school replacing Penn.  The ever changing schedule

So Clinton Central plays Frankfort on Friday night, then cancels in-person school/games over the weekend because of Covid.  Seems the Frankfort game was played at risk.

My thoughts exactly.

Every game this season will be played "at risk".  I will say, it is beyond ludicrous for teams to be rolling around on each other, sweating, spitting, bleeding...................but they wave at each other after the game because heaven forbid they high five.  That was hysterical at the end of the Sheridan/WeBo game.

Its also even more ridiculous to quarantine hundreds of students or shut down an entire football team, for ONE positive test (which may or may not be a false positive result).

Quarantining people who have no symptoms is ridiculous.  And the CDC said as much earlier today with their newest update.

There is proof that asymptomatic carriers that go into large groups are the super spreaders that lead to outbreaks.  The CDC by not testing all individuals that have a close contact are going against what epidemiologists have been saying all along.  This is a political move because the federal government dropped the ball on testing and by rushing a reopening of the country when they didn't meet the requirements of re-opening.  We can beat this and have football but we have only played one week and if we pretend that this isn't real we will pay for our arrogance.

Exactly.  Covid-19 is a real threat, we should not be fooled.

Let's take that number compared to the 330,000,000 Americans.  That would be a shade under 20,000,000 people.  I hope that doesn't include someone you care about...
