I’m rooting for Madder Days just because of the BS Tritons seems to enjoy doing.3 points

How about we drop this entire thing at this point. I really don't need to expound on how others may/may not interpret things like others....especially if the " basis" of the discussion isn't necessarily 'kosher' to start with...2 points

As I said many weeks ago, it is very foolish to ever discount Luers, regardless of their record. They will roll Bluffton and then the tournament starts for them at semi-state2 points

There is no doubt the guy can coach. Personality-wise, meh… But people like Dabo and Nick Saban have taught us that personality issues fade away when you are winning at the highest level.2 points

Panties bunched. Settle down AC It’s perfectly fine if you’re not as good as last season, I don’t think you necessarily have to be to win the north. NJ is kind of a crackerjack squad, you never know what you’re gonna get. As a great coach used to say “I’m perfectly fine being known as the worst State Champs of all time”1 point

It was a joke based on the Scecina/LCC threads from over a decade ago, as other posters have stated. It was definitely not meant to be discriminatory in any way, shape, or form, nor would I have made the comment if I had known that there would be a possibility of anybody even thinking that.1 point

Yes, parking is tight. All good places above to eat. Others are The Prized Pig, Doc Pierces, The Phoenix, Zing Fusion and Chickory Cafe are all within 10 minutes. If you prefer a liquid diet, try Sun King Brewery.1 point

He was the poster boy for it. Here’s a tantrum he threw over a famous no call in the Michigan game in 1977. This is the play that got Jerry Markbreit into the NFL. As an aside, the intended receiver on the play was Dick Wakefield, who was a boyhood friend of mine in Avon Lake, OH. This was, perhaps, Woody’s greatest performance. He hated Michigan with a passion. Wouldn’t even say the word. Just referred to them as “that school up North.” Legend has it that he was on a recruiting visit “up North” and ran out of gas on the return trip. He pushed his pickup truck until he crossed the state line so he wouldn’t have to buy gas in Michigan. In case you can’t tell, this was the Michigan broadcast.1 point

I'm not sure USC should be out of the conversation. They still have potential 1 loss oppoenents UCLA and Oregon on the schedule as well as Notre Dame. I could see them gaining favor from the committe if they were to dominately win those games.1 point

Trying to figure out where your rant came from?? Must of been waiting all off-season to talk some more smack. This person(not even sure if he’s a Judson guy) posted that Judson may be the best team he’s “seen”. Then went in to list all the ways they aren’t that great. So take a step back and take a deep breath, AC is still the favorites in the north.1 point

Overall that is a good showing. Won 3 of the 4 sectionals that included SIAC teams. All 3 face tough matchups this week though.1 point

Anyone catch that the two point play BK used vs FSU back in 2014? No pick called last night in Death Valley1 point

I'm not sure if Snider has ever played at Mishawaka, Great high school stadium setting so I would recommend seeing a game there for sure.1 point

People can say what they want about Kelly. He turned Notre Dame around and left them in a really good place.1 point

in this scenario (I am a proponent I think of neutral sites at this level) are sites pre determined, if they are what happens when host site school is still playing, a lot of your school personnel who would need to be there for the 2 visiting teams would also need to be at their own school's game, if not pre determined, and based on after Sectionals, does it give Host Schools and visitors 6 days enough time to pull it off with all the people and linguistics?1 point

Rumor has that STC picked up the Covid at the KFC buffet last year. I heard the naughty nurses at Dearborn County Hospital had him on a steady drip of BL's and Connie's house perfume.....they were even sprinkling him with Concepts magic glitter but the prognosis wasn't looking good.1 point

I think I got a bit dumber reading their exchange. And I don't have much ground to give, tbh.1 point

Luers lacks class? Never heard or seen that in four decades. I'm curious what you saw to come to that conclusion.1 point

I doubt desperation had nothing to do with it. Those teams know they can fill their schedule with talented teams within a 45 minute drive. But why not schedule the best of what Fort Wayne has to offer? It's something different. And I'm hearing a couple of those games could be featured at Lucas.1 point

Because an unranked team with home losses to Marshall and Stanford isn’t going to jump all the way up to #12. Just not how the AP poll works this late in the season. In regards to Clemson, this type of loss has been building all year. They’ve been rather unimpressive all year and their initial #4 ranking in the CFP was on name brand alone. Offense is a mess and they’re getting average QB play at best. They severely lack playmakers out on the perimeter.0 points
