  1. Hopefully New Pal will have a tougher schedule next year… they need to be better prepared.

  2. I'm watching on IHSAAtv. Looks like Heritage Hills would go undefeated against Luers schedule.

  3. The guy with the best view in the house disagreed. Jets punch in another to make it 46-6. Remember, no Mercy Rule timing in the State Finals. Why you ask? It screws up the schedule for commercials on the broadcasts.

  5. Was injured in third quarter of regional when they were up 54-0. Coaches have to make decisions when to pull kids- some pull them early try to keep them healthy- some leave them and pad their stats- all have to live with those decisions.

  6. you shouldn't hate to see it Purdue has every opportunity to compete if they choose too, tonight. The players were put in positions to not succeed and then they players said nope......hence the fumbles in cold weather game with very little contact Put up 100 if you can, won 't hear a peep from me in this landscape that is called "college" football

  7. AGAIN. Time to put a CAP on this one! The "rookies" are showing their arse by keeping this going, at this point....

  9. IU is hammering Purdue, 52-0, early in the 4th quarter. So it's time to get to bed. It's been a good long day.

  10. Absolutely. This is a very good team. I've got them as a Top 20 team regardless of class. Probably the second best team in 4A. Again, fun to watch. Hard hitting. Quarterback was as advertised.

  11. It’s a good thing history didn’t have anything to do with this year’s game isn’t it?

  12. I've never whitnessed a bigger batch of classless fans on this forum in all the years I've been here. I really hope it's not a reflection on the Heritage Hills community as a whole. That being said. Congrats to the Heritage Hills football team on their impressive performance. They were fun to watch.

  14. Looks like HH as 22 yards shy of over taking the record. Ended up having 328 yards, Portage (1977) and Chatard (2003) still have the record at 349 rushing yards in 3A.

  15. Congrats Patriots! I knew you’d find your way back here after seeing this team up close. Hell of a team and well deserved!

  16. Just a comment that occurred to me earlier in the week when some were making comments regarding one team having 12 State Championships and HH not playing the schedule that Luers played. At the time, I just bit my tongue. My first thought was that Heritage Hills would likely have around 10 State Championships but for the fact they almost always faced Chatard in SemiState. The other thought I had was HH always brought it against Chatard and it was a bruising tough game….regardless who Chatard had played during the regular season. Congrats to HH.

  17. Walk the champion walk. Luers strapped it up and are giving thier all. This Luers fan, along with many others, never expected them to get this far. The Knights now know what it will take to get the blue ring in 3A. Thanks to HH for setting the bar.

  19. Sorry for the hiatus. I’m actually supposed to be working this game. Heading down to the officials’ locker room for the postgame debrief. But my last thought on this game is that watching HH’s offensive line play is a real pleasure.

  20. What a tool. Didn't want to start too early. Going to rip everyone of them still.

  23. What comes around, goes around. Bet Will Howard not chirping in the camera today. Perhaps media might now believe IU’s win over Michigan is a tad more impressive

  24. Judson's issues still seem to be an issue.. Adams Central. Just as physical and big... can throw and run...wayyy more speed. Providence. Just as physical and big. They can throw and run...more speed North Judson's inability to stop the pass and not throwing the ball is gonna doom them any time they get deep into the playoffs.

  25. 14-0 HH end of 1Q All HH in that quarter, Luers has the ball in HH territory to start the 2Q

  28. I did not think East Noble would be able to run the ball vs the Dragons. But I did not expect 61 yards, most of which came in last drive vs subs. Held their leading rusher to -7 yards.

  29. The entire ball has to be out of the end zone or it is a safety. Not just the foremost point of the ball. Providence with a nice long drive to take a 14-6 lead with 11:30 left in the half.

  30. Pass just before Providence's second touchdown was incomplete. Ruled a catch

  33. Three more big games on tap today! IMO, the people in the stripes had a pretty good day yesterday. I saw only one (what I would consider) major mistake: a mis-enforced penalty in the 4A game, that had no effect on the outcome at all. Hope I’m not jinxing the 3 great crews we have working today. But I know them, and have great confidence in them all.

  34. It’s Beat USC Day. My favorite memory of this game was my senior year at ND in 1973, Eric Penick’s 85 yd. run early in the 2nd half broke open a close game and led the undefeated Irish to their date with destiny in the Sugar Bowl against Alabama 2 months later. Lindsey Nelson on the call.

  35. In my view, speaking as one who worked the referee position for over 30 years, it was grossly negligent that one of the other crew members didn’t retrieve that flag for him while he was signaling and enforcing the penalty. I’m not kidding here. If that had been my crew, someone would have been reamed.

  36. Yep I was! A lot of frustrations taken out on the Miners. Good game Linton! We know how that feels. Mission accomplished!

  37. The more I look at this game the more I like East Nobles chances. Both teams scoring avg, pts against, and margin of victory are similar. They are both 1-0 against the states top 25. New Pal is 5-0 against the states top 64 while East Noble is 7-1. Who has New Pal played other than Chatard and Martinsville??? No-one.. I’m not doubting they are good, or even #1 in 4A. But the assumption that EN won’t compete is a joke. I have not seen anything on film or otherwise that suggests this game is New Pals easily. This EN team is ready. They have a cockiness and confidence I haven’t seen since 2019. Their D is a UNIT! They have athletes on the D-line, their linebackers are amazing, and their secondary might be the best EN has ever had. The lights are bright at Lucas Oil though. Whoever plays the cleaner game I think wins. I think if EN can come out +1 in the turnover margin.. they pull out the win. If they can’t take care of the ball and lose the turnover margin it will go to New Pal. EN - 24 New Pal - 17

  40. It appears as if a Bonified change of address eliminates almost all issues....but not always. Not when the sending Principle is a scumbag. Why do these guys care, who wants to force a kid to play someplace they don't want to be. I don't want a kid in my program that doesn't want to be there.....and I won't want to punish a kid for not wanting to be.

  43. Me? Lol, no. Look, anyone with one brain cell could tell you that Luers had a tougher schedule than Heritage Hills. Did that make Luers a better team? No. Did most people around Fort Wayne view Luers as the underdog? Probably. Did anyone up here see this blowout coming? No. Again, congrats to Heritage Hills, very good team. This will be my last response to any of your posts. You don't have the mental capacity to engage with me............Bro.
