Ok, I’ll beat this drum again. It’s absurd that one of the quite likely two best teams in 3A will be turning in their equipment on the second week of playoffs instead of potentially meeting in Lucas Oil after Thanksgiving. I get the issues surrounding state-wide seeding but at least seed the top 2-4 teams in the Sectionals.3 points

I'm seeing the same. All we were given for streaming is what you are seeing: https://www.tocsportsnetwork.com/events/496494/?fbclid=IwY2xjawNouL5leHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFLVkFOVWxWbTBPUE9YeFVoAR4yCo_5vrtJH1duhxy7B-qyGqmoqZ6qOzaTfqsWw-GAim9mVsu5Fbi4mBH12g_aem_iGlR0YH-PskcZ0OBtswJJg I also checked IHSAATV and I am not seeing there. You can listen to the game at Bashradio.com2 points

Can we go off topic for a quick moment to talk about how this is an awesome name2 points

It is what it is. If it wasn't random, then there would have to be a process in place to determine the seeds, and people would argue about that. I may be crazy, but I kind of like the randomness of where games will be played. The same thing happened down here last year with HH and Ev. Memorial.2 points

The thing that makes the least sense about this scandal is why in the hell would Chauncey Billups and Terry Rozier risk their careers and all of the millions of dollars they've already made LEGALLY by getting involved in illegal sports betting and rigged poker games? Did they think about what they would put their families through if they got caught? If anything, the biggest thing that Chauncey Billups and Terry Rozier are guilty of is absolute STUPIDITY. Also, as a Pacers fan, the Chauncey Billups news gives me another reason to hate the 2004 Pistons.2 points

EC Central 58, Highland 56. I think that means @First_Backer_Inside will win the week.1 point

The call was CORRECT. An accepted penalty against either the Offense or Defense does NOT end the game. In this case, AHS had to accept the penalty in order to take the TD off the board. Since the clock ran out, EHS gets one UNTIMED DOWN... they then scored. Absolutely adjucated correctly, no matter what the broadcasting team was screaming about.1 point

@temptation i hate you. I'm losing my mind here trying to keep track of the apparent longest high school football game in history through box score/comments on maxpreps and this guy doesn't even have the common courtesy to describe the "big play"1 point

Technically you’re late, but I’ll let it slide seems how you are in the central time zone…1 point

Sorry about that, somehow I had Carroll on the brain. But yes, it was Crown Point vs Fishers. That's what I meant. Not upset about you having an opinion. I just don't know how you put a team with two blowout losses ahead of Crown Point, that's all. You've explained yourself, but any reasonable person on a committee is probably going to side with me on this and put Crown Point at #3 and Fishers at #4.1 point

A few post before… I could see that interpreted different ways. No dog in the fight…just calling balls and strikes1 point

You’ve got all of your chips pushed to the middle of the table on a northern 6A team not named Carmel. How close do Carroll/Crown Point have to be to the sectional 4 winner in order for you to claim a moral victory? Or are you going to claim they out hit them and if the game were 5 quarters they would’ve won?1 point

Sure, they have every chance to prove that in the tournament. Teams that win their games Like Carmel and CP should be granted their reward of home games. I am not saying Westfield is bad or less than CP, based on merit of winning their schedule they earned the two spot. I punished Penn for their weak schedule but yet still gave them the five seed because they took care of business. Even though every person that lives south of 24 believes that Penn would be a sub .500 team in the HCC most years. Which is likely true, but again, win your schedule and get the rewards of playing home playoff games.1 point

I stand corrected, just watched the indictiment press conference.... 4 years ago got started. what an incredible reading of those indictiments and bullet point of evidence against the accused. The Mob connection.... now that is full on old school feel.1 point

These lists seem dominated at the top by teams that beat up on smaller schools in their conference annually. Somebody had to say it:1 point

Oh, the conference! The sheer, unadulterated romance of it all. As an occasional lurker these days, I must confess: you and this athletic conference have quite a love affair. Rennselaer will always be in the heart of the Mills family. Both parents poured their formative years into that sacred ground. Numerous occasions where my dad and the guy officiating the JV game would talk about the glory days of go kart racing on the St. Joe Campus. But the true star, the influencer before influencers were even a thing, is Coach Nowlin. The man is a legend. I mean, who else would personally deliver a wagonmaster to a junior high coach warming up for their first game at Rc. That's not coaching, that's performance art. His relentless, almost cult-like marketing of the Wagon Wheel is so intense I'm convinced he's secretly on the payroll, or maybe he's just trying to secure a lifetime supply of those delicious burgers. I hope the future scheduling gods, keep RC on the LCC schedule1 point
