  1. It will be called the Sagaless Conference.

  3. Chatard vs Heritage Hills (who put 363 yards of offense on Gibson Southern last Friday--we get that safety and negate a stupid 90ish yard long run from Delong that got away from us and its a different game) T32--just funnin'...hope to see you again at Semi-State.

  4. Drop Luers to small conference and eliminate Blackhawk and Busco. Eliminate Blackhawk because it could be years before they are competitive. Eliminate Busco since Woodlan and Heritage are closer to Fort Wayne. Splitting hairs on that one. Luers doesn't need to be in the big division. They are 4-34 historically against Snider. If the knights want to continue rumbling with the big guys, they can schedule whoever they want for their three out of division games. Seven in each division allows three out of division games. Can do crossover (Dwenger vs Luers) or out of conference. With fourteen teams in the SAC, I think we can crown two champions. It's just not a level playing field otherwise. There's a 70% chance that Snider, Carroll, or Homestead win the SAC. Dwenger gets a 20% chance. A champion from any of the other schools sits at 10%. Two champions is fair.

Bears deserve all of this, called NFL KARMA, when you fire LOVIE after a 10-6 season when his teams played their nuts off for him, you get this disaster Also, somehow, someway, they continue to be a profitable business venture for me, which brings me to the point of, got my 3 tickets for XMAS eve game vs Arizona Cardinals, BIG BIG GAME THERE!! 8. Danville and Lebanon are growing rapidly... I think it has more to do with the future and similar size schools vs. right now. Danville will be 4A soon, Lebanon could be push to 5A soon, meanwhile Webo will more than likely be back to 2A after this year (and remain in 2A for the foreseeable future).

  11. GHS set to join new athletic conference The rumored move of Greencastle to a new, as-yet-unnamed athletic conference became official Monday evening. The Greencastle school board voted unanimously in favor of accepting an invitation to the new conference, where county rival North Putnam has already cast its lot. With the announcement, Greencastle will exit the Western Indiana Conference. Plans for the new conference were announced this spring, with North Putnam joining five schools set to exit the Sagamore Conference — Southmont, Crawfordsville, North Montgomery, Western Boone and Frankfort. Remaining Sagamore Conference members Lebanon, Tri-West and Danville will retain the Sagamore name. Meanwhile, Cascade voted to join the new conference earlier this month, leading to much speculation about Greencastle’s fate. The Cadets had been set to re-join the WIC prior to that announcement. The new conference is set to begin play in 2025-26.

  12. IU football has hit a new low with that pathetic performance against Akron. Been an IU football fan my whole life and not sure it can get any lower than this. Kind of like watching Colorado fans bum rush the field with an overtime win against Colorado State…

  19. Geographic proximity to I-65, I-74, and the ever outward expanding urban sprawl of Indianapolis. That is why the likes of Danville, Lebanon and to a smaller extent Tri-West are growing at a higher rate than Western Boone.

  26. Very electric, but not the state qualifier. #29 Wade Jones was the regional winner and state qualifier. Put this team in any other sectional in the North for 3A than the one they are in and they win it. Tough sectional realignment two years ago for the Vikings

  27. Facebook post from someone with direct knowledge of this game..... It’s disgusting to hear what Greencastle did to Brown County in Varsity 🏈 last Friday. I taught at Greencastle & it’s a great town filled with wonderful people. But this is hard to justify…. -Went for 2 pt conversion up 34-0 in 2nd quarter -Onside kick to get another possession up 36-0 w/ 9:00 left in 2Q -Went for 2 pt conversion up 47-0 -Up 63-0 at Half and starters still playing to start 3Q and they PASS for a TD -Up 70-0 and they PASS for another TD! This is not why school records are made. You want to break a school record? Do it in a competitive game. You don’t embarrass people when they’re down. This has no place in high school athletics. DO BETTER GREENCASTLE!!!!

  28. There are some instances, often involving player or coach disqualifications, that the IHSAA reviews video. But they have nowhere near the manpower needed to police 160 games every weekend. So, most of the “heinous/irresponsible calls” go unaddressed. And by “heinous/irresponsible calls” I mean those that “I disagree with and go against my team.”

  29. Last I heard Tipton was still looking for a week 6 opponent. We may be joining RC in Illinois for a game. With 9 schools now, I think everyone should play each other. 8 conference games and then keep your rival non conference game. Scheduling would be so much easier that way.

  30. At Terre Haute, last Friday, it was the crew's first game officiating. IHSAA sent a head official to observe and help them. The game drug out forever and there were some weird calls but it's what they have to do. I believe one of the games in the area actually took place on Thursday because of lack of officials for Friday. On another note, I have heard that coaches can send in complaints with footage and the IHSAA will investigate the calls. In some instances officials could have points toward the state tournament taken away and/or not get paid. If this is true, there is accountability for heinous/irresponsible calls. No doubt it's a tough job and probably not really worth the money that they actually get. I would say the majority of officials are doing it because they love the game.

  35. 🤣😂😅 Seriously, Coach Curtis has clearly mellowed. Can’t tell anything from the video. This happened at 8:25 of the 4th period. If either of the coaching staffs would share the Hudl video with the IFOA like they are supposed to, I could look at it and see if there’s anything there. Regardless, there should have been a measurement, if only for “public relations” purposes.
