Amazing how some people have no clue how tough these kids are. They have not quit one time this year and going into sectional, they won't start now. These are still kids we are talking about. I know it gives some people a chance to come on here and bash kids and point out their flaws. These kids work hard, these kids fight. But the people in charge of this thing has his boys and they are allowed to say whatever they want. I am proud of them because they believe in each other when everyone else does not. That is what football is really about, the family around you .4 points

As is my tradition, this video really brings out what playing for a sectional is all about. Sectionals3 points

I will give credit to Muda.....I too was skeptical of the intent here. I do believe he was sincere in wishing these teams well. I will also add that as a coach, some of the toughest/best coaching I did was on teams that won very few games. I have never been a part of an team that has gone winless. I applaud the coaches and players who kept showing up and kept working through the adversity.3 points

I'm going to brag on my team a little bit here.. BC 39 Sburg 6 Our JV team finished our season 8-0 on the year. We outscored our opponents 288-54 throughout the season. Incredibly proud of our guys.2 points

This game is going to be one of the biggest in Cass County in recent memory. Going to be a tough game and a lot of fun!2 points

Kings proved on Friday that it is tough to beat a team twice especially one that has a lot of pride in it's performance and play. I am sure Pioneer is none to happy with that one loss they have on their record and will be chomping at the bit to get after the Kings. Kings need to lock in this week and focus on the task at hand. Can't reach the next goal unless you win this week. Should be a fun night Friday. Looking forward to this one.2 points

Wow, could've fooled me! I just thought AOC had suddenly gotten a little hotter.2 points

I would be surprised if anyone other than Mater Dei wins this sectional. It is just hard to match their strength of schedule for a small school.2 points

I just have a burning passion for all things endzone camera. Their use has revolutionized the game of football and how it's viewed.2 points

Fortunate for Mooresville they are in the Mid-State conference with some pretty darn good teams. We will see if it has battle tested them and prepared them well. If it comes to Mooresville vs East Central should be a great game. If both East Central and Mooresville make it to the Sectional Championship, the Trojans will have to travel to the Pioneers.2 points

I just assumed since your profile picture is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that you would be a Bernie supporter. I'm glad you asked me that question. The Hi-Pod X31 comes with a 5 year replacement warranty, so it's a very safe investment.2 points

What tight resources? Athletics are paid out of a different fund than any other schools operating expenses. We fund raise to pay for our reconditioning, equipment, uniforms. Our gates cover our other operating expenses. We work concessions all fall and spring for the athletic department. We help the Boosters with any fund raisers we have. I know we are only 1 school.2 points

Carmel at #4 seems high to me. Here is their path to LOS. I don't see a clearcut favorite in the 6A North this season. Opener at HSE, solid & improving team. #7 Fishers or Westfield in Sectional final. #3 Homestead or #11 Snider in Regional. #2 Laf Jeff, #7 Merrillville or #12 Warsaw in Semi State.1 point

Can I throw Columbus East in as a dark horse? The CG - CE games are always good. I think both teams could win that sectional.1 point

Are you sure? I hope some day you will find something to be as passionate about as I am when it comes to endzone cameras.1 point

Absolutely agree with that statement. I'm just suggesting possible teams that could pose problems for Mooresville or East Central got to that point. The Central Memorial game was at Central in regular season was a 23-20 OT win for Central. I guess I was just thinking maybe Memorial would be extra motivated. Both will be tough outs in the tournament (Memorial and Central).1 point

11 personal fouls by one team in one game? I've never heard of such a thing!1 point

Should be a great week. Anyone know if these games will be broadcasted online? Wish Brebeuf would bring in some extra bleachers 😉1 point

It would be interesting to know how many top 10 teams in each class use endzone cameras to capture their game film. I would think the correlation would be high, because the endzone view is such a powerful teaching tool.1 point

I didn't mean any disrespect to LC. The Giants thought they had it bagged in the first quarter, but LC didn't quit.1 point

So now Seymour is on the contraction list? We've been down this road before Muda. Athletic budgets by state law have to be self supporting. They can not operate in the red. Yes, capital projects money goes into facilities, but operating the sports has to be self supporting. Football is an expensive sport, and in most cases is a money maker at schools. What do you think funds swimming, cross country, wrestling, baseball, track, etc. not only at the HS level but also NCAA? Football and Basketball are revenue generating sports, and these other sports are not. Once again as I have already pointed out, you and I are not going to see eye to eye on public schools and apparently public schools sports. It's education based sports, we continue to rehash the same material, what do you want from me?1 point

Houston went all in to stop the run, which they pretty much did. However, with their banged up secondary, it was on Reich to take advantage of it with the play calling. He did and Jacoby delivered. Houston has a good defense but they are undisciplined, thus all of the penalties which was helpful here and there. The Colts have been looking for that WR2 to pair with TY. I think they found him in Pascal (at least for one game). When we get Funchess and Campbell back, this WR group is going to be scary good. Jacoby passed to 8 different receivers yesterday. That sounds strangely familiar.1 point

While it’s always easy to sit outside the fence and pass judgement, I’m willing to defer to the coaching staff who’s at practice everyday, knows his players, understands what they need as far as development, and I would assume knows how best to run his program.1 point

I mean yeah LC is definitely the 2nd or 3rd “worst” team in the MIC this, but with LC beating BD and LN I wouldn’t say it isn’t a good win. It’s impossible to read the MIC this year. I would have said North Central was the best team prior to last week. Now I have no clue1 point

Hate quoting my own post....... Checked the roster and there are 4 other QB's listed, including Jack Tuttle, the red-shirt freshman that transferred from Utah. I had heard he was going to leave but I cannot confirm that. The other 3 I don't think have taken any practice snaps to speak of. Reese did play some offense last year so he has some experience handling the ball. But hope it doesn't come down to this. If Penix can get and stay healthy, he will surpass all other Hoosiers as the all-time leading passer.1 point

I was hoping the Lions could get a win at home, but the Vikes are just a step behind Green Bay, and within striking distance. Going to be fun watching it unfold.1 point

I feel like match ups like this, worry the ones who aren't even going to watch it more than the coaches and players who play it.1 point

Anyone who favors an all-in, seeded tournament should have to drive from Evansville to Marengo to watch Mater Dei play Crawford County. Based on Sagarin, MD is an 87.89 point favorite.... give or take depending on home field advantage.1 point

Once agian NV walks away with WRC championship. Great game to close out the regular season. Now on to sectionals... Great day to be a Falcon!!! Great job Coach Crabtree,Lopez,Blank,Davis another great regular season!!! On another note for all the Falcon fans former NV coach Mark Bless took his 6A Avon team 9-0 for the season. What I find totally amazing in ALL of this is: Sheridan is #3 with 678 wins. That isn't what I find amazing. The amazing part is Coach Wright is responsible for 422 of those 678 wins! What a legend in the state of Indiana high school football!!! He has 423 wins overall.1 point

We've been a few times, not much has changed, aside from vendors being right up in your grill now. I did go to the dispensary, at least it had the air of legitimacy. And I saved the cool little tubes that they came in. The gummies are clearly the way to go. My guess is come Jan. 1 you're going to see interstate traffic driving really fast to OH and IL, and driving home really slow.1 point
