I think Brady broke another record tonight. Besides becoming the career passing TDs leader, I believe he broke the career completions record. Brady had 735 entering tonight and unofficially has 28 completions to add, making his total 763 completions Career totals + Indiana all time standings 11,520 yards (2nd all time) 675 yards away from 1st 763 completions (1st all time) 144 passing TDs (1st all time)

If you have a Roku TV or FireStick, IHSAA has an app you can download, but you will need to pay to watch. I want to complain about the $15, but to be honest, it’s nice to watch all 3 local teams of my interest - MD, EM last night and GS today. Good luck Titans. I will be watching today from the comfort of my couch, grumbling about the IHSAA price of course. Lol

Bob, I get it and certainly don’t disagree with your point (because you’re right) but I find myself at a “gut” level often having to restrain myself when it comes to Merrillville….not because of the team and kids (I think I indicated last year that they handled themselves with class and aplomb last Fall at Chatard) but rather because they literally have some of the worst and most obnoxious fans imaginable (one certain fan is literally a lunatic) over on the football Facebook page and it, unfortunately, at times is really, really difficult to not want to speak to THOSE folks which I think was really what “‘06” was doing (not to put words in his mouth) rather than the team and kids (who deserve respect). By the way, I think I may just have written the longest most dreadful single and continuous sentence in my life. For those lovers of grammar, I apologize in advance for my assault on Mssrs. Strunk and White just above.

This is so awesome having two programs who have NEVER been to LOS. Coach Eppley pushed the right buttons as a first year coach? That's incredible.

Don't care. We made it to LOS. They're bringing hardware back either way. We have the Championship trophy from 2000. If we win awesome, if not then that's fine as well. My thing was them making it as far as they should have. This team, it was the state trip. We didn't have a Pioneer or LCC preventing a trip. Why I was agitated after rd 1 win over Busco. That type of game is always how the Busco matchups go. I'd like to see more creativity against them and the Southwoods & Northfields. Heard all year that Lutheran and CC winner would be the Championship favorite. Attica & Josh Smith were as well. Screw the coin flip, let's just wear the white jerseys and treat it like an away game. We are playing Lutheran in Indy and they've been #1. Play the game Friday and let the chips fall where they may. Only 11 other teams are playing this week.

Tried to edit the above post but couldn’t. HCC actually started in 2000 with 5 schools. In 2001 there were 8 schools, 3 in 5A and 5 in 4A.

New Prairie was as tough of a team as we have seen, that was an amazing atmosphere between two great teams last night. Hope to see you guys next year at semi state again.

Let's not forget that these are KIDS playing a game that will stay with them forever. A tempered attitude with the ups and downs of teenagers should be 1st and foremost. I for sure had some situations in my teens that I wish I could have back. And 'effort' is so subjective, it's crazy. Support and congratulate these young men (and perhaps women) for their season long efforts, and the joy that brought to the entire community and student body. That's what HS FB is all about!

I don’t know if there is a prefect metric when trying to put together a list like this. Even comparing the # of sectional titles can be skewed as some sectionals are much tougher than others. I will point out SR has 4 State Tital appearances while HH has 3....and GS has none (to this point- that will change in about 5 hours).

Just saying, the folks here love to give me shit but the HCC (barring conference realignment) will put everyone in the rear view mirror by then.

I am happy for Northridge to be where they are.. As I said at the start of the Tournament....Sectional 19 was unbelievable (stacked). It was apparent the the 19 winner could/would/should be on a direct line to LOS..... No matter victor!

There’s a few different problems with the SAC as it sits right now. I think everyone in this thread can and has acknowledged that fact. First thing I’d like to address is is that as a Luers guy, I would rather play a 9 game schedule where We’re playing the absolute best of the best every week. I can’t and won’t speak for players and coaches there now but 15-20 years ago, we wanted those games and hated that we couldn’t play teams like Chatard, Cathedral, Carmel and Warren. Does Luers benefit from playing in the SAC? Yes. But only 4 of the other 9 teams. The other 5 schools have 0 benefit from a competitive standpoint. Fort Wayne football used to have no problem competing with Indy. That was also almost 2 decades ago. I think a lot of it has to do with the amount of kids in each school (Bigger sample size) but I also think it has a lot to do with teams moving away from a more physical style of play. Physicality used to be a staple here. Now, not as much. Another thing I thought of, someone in another thread spoke of what Adams county football would look like if AC and South Adams were 1 school? What if the SAC were to do something similar? Combine schools to create a couple 6A schools with 2500-3000 kids a piece. I bet that’s a big enough of a sample size. Just my thoughts 🤷🏻‍♂️

HOw I would love to sit and talk all you listed about all this. I used a program to do all the Southwest 7 page stuff... I wouldn't say it was major LOL. I think is was Frontpage... and I learned by making mistakes over and over. I knew there had to be easier ways to do it... and I was trying to learn as I went. I just couldn't and still can't afford the hosting costs. And it's been so long since and things have changed so much. I have thought of Wiki stuff...Not sure how I would make it look like I see it in my mind using Facebook. I know there are a lot of things that can be done. I my mind I just see a page where you have options... a lot like Rudy's page...but naturally just Linton LOL. click on a year-- and there is the season; click on a game-- see stats, scoring etc..--- have season by season stats... career numbers... all time roster... you know.. the normal stuff. Opponents... history .. players... And I have so much of this already... well from mid 90's... but already have done so much research online finding newspaper articles in 50's and 60's etc... I want a place online to have this all in one place. I know it's time consuming, because it already eats up so much of my spare time as it is! I don't care about all the work because I see the end result in my mind and know it's worth it.

Try this - The director of Engineering at my company WAS scheduled for a heart by-pass surgery last week that was pushed to next week (11/23) because of staffing issues at the hospital. He tested Negative for Covid for the prior, but today just got the results back for his pre-surgery test as "Not Positive, but Not Negative"???? He is fully vaccinated since spring. His question is - WTF is "Not Positive, but Not Negative" and why (TF) do I have to now wait for another 3 weeks to re-schedule and then be re-tested? (The abbreviations were actually spoken in a raised tone of voice) He is sure glad he spent the past 2 weeks wearing a mask everywhere.

This will definitely be a good game! I truly feel Adams was only tested a couple times this season whereas North Judson plays in a conference that really better prepares 1A teams for the tournament. Picking up Tippy Valley was also a good move during the week the Jays should have played Winamac. The Jays have gotten progressively better each week and Coach Lambert and his staff have found ways to motivate this team to keep improving! I believe all these people who are predicting a 14+ win by Adams are in for an awakening! The HNAC is possibly one of if not the top conference for 1A schools to be in. It is definitely the most underrated! The rivalries and the comradaries in the HNAC are in my opinion unmatched across the state! One thing for sure only one of these two programs will be "Flying High" after tonight! Jays 24 --- AC 21

I’m thinking you’re going to see a very well officiated game. This crew is working their first semistate as a crew. But several of their officials have worked multiple state finals on other crews. The Head Linesman is particularly talented.

I just wanted to make sure we got in above the Orange County schools. 🤣
